AvuleaReviews of avulea.com

Beware of shopping on this site. The product they sell is a very tight compression-like garment, not the comfortable looking built-in bra tank top shown on their site. I sized up and the items were so small as to be unwearable. After much back and forth with their customer service email, I was offered 70% of the purchase price to just keep and donate the items purchased. I accepted that as Other reviews said trying to return items to them is horrible. 7 days and two follow-up emails later, I still have no credit to my card. Buyer beware!

The tank I bought was way too small. I got it over my head and that's where it stayed. I couldn't get one arm in. I ordered a large, same size I always were and matched their measurements. I just wrote my 7th email. No one has contacted me yet.

I ordered the tank with a built in bra, a full size bigger than I usually do, for extra comfort. I cannot even get the tank in my body! It is ridiculously small. I have sent three e-mails to the company in the past two weeks and they have not responded. I continue to get advertisements from them, but no response to my concern. I would NEVER do business with this company again.

First of all, I want to say that the customer service (CS) representative, Margaret, whom I worked with did her best to help me and always answered in a timely manner. My star rating for her is 5 stars *****. Now for the top…I give it no stars. I initially ordered one according to the size chart. It was a large (L). Ordered July 16. Finally received on August 5. It was very small. The arm holes in particular. They were so small that the bra piece sat on my chest and would not go any lower. So, I discussed the issue with CS and we agreed to get the next size up, XL. That was on August 5. I finally received my replacement today, August 19. Although the armholes are a little bigger, they are still so tight that it digs into my armpits. It also makes the bra piece ride up terribly and makes my boobs squish out of the bottom because of this. The top is made of an elastic type material. Sort of like a competition swimsuit is the best way I can put it. It’s hot and uncomfortable. This is the worst piece of clothing I have ever purchased. In summary, the shipping process is very slow and flawed, the top is horrible but CS was great. However, I will NEVER purchase from Avulea again.

If I could give them a Cero star, I would. I honestly believe this company scams seniors citizens, I order ONE item…seconds later I end up with 3 orders! I tried to call NO PHONE anywhere!!, send email and got Susan and Margaret that are probably AI. Many emails back and forth, and got frustrated and cancelled my whole order. Margaret said they could not cancel, BUT said DECLINE the order. I immediately put a sign outside my gate, Declining every package. Also be aware they don’t use regular UPS, FED EX, etc, they use an Unknown company GOFO who sends texts to your email without mentioning the Company they are delivering from. And when you see a tracking message shows China airport, China Mainland, etc I found a phone number, I called the place and they can not provide the name of the company. In my case they said they delivered a package, show a picture but left no package! Maybe they read my sign and removed the package, don’t know, my sign is still there. I am disputing this with my credit card!!!! Be Aware☝️

If you want to purchase a piece of cloth with edges made from scissors, then go for it! If you want to spend $9 returning an item go for it! If you want to spend an entire month and 15 plus emails requesting a refund go for it. It took me from July 17 when I first requested a refund and August 15 when I actually received a refund. I’m grateful I actually finally got a refund. Having to remember and keep up with email for 30 days to continue trying to get a refund took up way too much of my valuable time. I believe “Margaret” the customer service person is probably AI. I only received 1 email that appeared written by a person. You will spend up to 5 emails trying to get them to provide you a return address and instructions for returning an item. You will spend another two weeks tracking your return and trying to get them to process your return. Be direct. You will have to ask for the address to return your item to. Once they receive your item you will have to repeatedly request your refund to be processed. I can assure you the item will not fit as it appears on the advertisement. The entire garment is a piece of very tight spandex and it will become painful over the course of the day.

I recieved my order and, as the other reviews state, the size large was so small I could hardly get it over my head. I sent the company TWO emails about returning this item, and no response. I just attached a copy of both of my emails into the "contact us" box on their website. But not looking like this is going to go anywhere. I was hoping to try this item in an extra large. But since I've gotten no response and the size L is more like an extra small, and since I bought THREE of them, this purchase is going to be a 100% loss if they do not respond. I've just about given up hope.

The fabric of these tank tops is wonderful and it looks great on the model. However the sizing is no where near reality. I normal wear a plus size 0 or 1X in my tops at stores like Talbots. However I looked at the sizing chart on the Avulea web site, measured myself, and ordered a 4X. I could not get it on properly either over my head or stepping into it, it was so tight. When I got it pulled up as far as possible and then put the straps on, they were so painful, the way they dug into my shoulders as the fit was so tight. I am returning it and wanted to warn others of the sizing that is ridiculous.
