I would love to rate this company with zero stars but that’s not an option. My shipment of a jacket went to a “dead zone “. I had to track the order down and request that it be re-shipped. The sizing is absolutely not accurate, so when I tried to return the jacket, they gave me instructions to ship but said I cannot return the battery because I cannot put it in the mail despite the fact that it came to me in the mail. Customer service is nonexistent. The phone says it’s 24 hours, but it just directs you to send an email. The emails are absolutely unhelpful. Don’t ever do business with this company. They are the worst.

NEVER RECEIVED THE ITEM!!
NEVER RECEIVED THE ITEM!!
Stay away from this site. I ordered a necklace in october, after 8 weeks I wrote a mail that I still haven‘t received the item yet, and they told me to wait. A few weeks later I wrote another mail, and after that another one and no one answered any more. On the tracking site it says that the item arrived the destination country but was exported to open and disassambled.
Still haven‘t got the item, nor any reply...
I wrote them several times that I want my money back, but it didn‘t happen so far. I‘m glad that it was only 15 bucks and not some expensive shoes or something.

Terrible Return Policy
I sent back a jacket and pair of boots that were too small on November 26 and it is now December 19th and I still haven't received my refund. I have called customer service several times a bunch of crap and I have also sent an email and still a bunch of crap. So disappointing because I like their clothes. They told me it would take 8 weeks to get my refund, 2 MONTHS IS RIDICULOUS and UNACCEPTABLE.

Stay Away From This Site!!!
Stay away from this site!!! I used to buy from Silhouette, which apparently merged in some way with Avenue. I had a good experience with Silhouette, so I placed a first order with Avenue for 2 items, which arrived separately. I elected to keep the shirt I purchased even though I was shocked by the poor quality of the fabric - you barely have to look at it to get a pull. The shoes I purchased were obviously too small without trying them on. I rewrapped them, used the return label and took the time to drive to a UPS store. The shoes were on sale for $21.70 and the return fee was $8.95, so I expected a refund/credit of $12.75. Instead, I received an e-mail saying these were a Final Sale item and I either could pay ANOTHER $8.95 to have the shoes returned to me, or they would be donated to charity. Final sale?! I remain open to the possibility/probability that I made an error, but then why wasn't "Final Sale" on the invoice and why was there a return label???? // I called and a customer service rep said he would escalate my case - basically make an appeal to refund the full $21.70 (though I only asked for the $12.75). He said I would receive a call within 7 days. Nine days later I called back and was told that the appeal still was in process. About a week after that I finally received a call from a woman who basically read the original e-mail to me. I'd been waiting for three weeks and this individual had NO new information, NO empathy, and was willing to lose a customer over $12.75 (I remained open to paying the return fee). She just kept repeating the same thing over and over, like a broken record; she couldn't or wouldn't have a discussion. When I tried to document the call, she would only give me a first name, saying that she did not have an employee number. She also said there was no one more senior to whom I could turn - anyone more senior did not deal directly with customers. I was invited to look up any corporate address; this customer rep wasn't going to provide any assistance. By now it was the principle that mattered. I called my credit card company and disputed the charge. Avenue STILL refused to give me a credit. However, the credit card company was sufficiently swayed by my points that THEY issued a credit to me for $21.07. So, good-bye Avenue. The quality of your clothing is awful, based on my experience, and the quality of your customer service is even worse. I hope you can afford to continue to lose customers over $12.75.

Broken items not refunded- horrible customer service!
Would not refund me for jewelry that arrived broken - 3 items broken in one order. Then for the first time in 10 years I returned two items within the return timeframe and they would not accept them! they said I can get them back for $8.95 or they would 'donate' them to a charity in my name! yeah, right, they would resell them for sure. I have spent thousands of dollars there over 10 years and I will never spend another penny. Customer service is horrible! 3 follow up calls and 5 emails to not get refunded for the broken jewelry. I take my business elsewhere and I would say "Buyer Beware' with Avenue!!!

The people working at avenue lie
The people working at avenue lie. I wanted to buy a pair of boots, but the only one in my size had glue on it. The liars said they could shop me another pair in 3-5 days. A few weeks later I still had no boots, so I called customer service. I was told they were on back order and it would be several more weeks. A few days later I got an email saying my order was cancelled, there was no reason given. I sent an email to customer sryasking why, I never received a response. A few days later I got an email about another boot sale, and my boots were included! So I called to find out what the deal was.
The liar I spoke to tried to sell me my boots. They did not care about the poor service.

Horrible customer service. Shop elsewhere if you can.
Horrible customer service. I placed an order 9 days ago. It has still not shipped. It will be shipped tomorrow. I've been told that twice. They didn't have any problem charging my credit card right away however. The customer service reps are nice but it's pretty obvious they are located outside the US and are instructed to regurgitate scripted responses and have no actual authority to make anything better. This isn't the first problem I've had with Avenue. Like other reviewers, I've waited for over a month for returned merchandise to be processed. I've also been refused a refund for unworn merchandise that was returned due to a chemical odor that would not dissipate. I wish I weren't so fat so I had more options. Unfortuntely, until I can lose weight I will probably have to do business with this sucky company again. Avenue does not care about it's customers. Avoid if at all possible.
