Hugely disappointing
I have a lot of bad low res photos that I truly hoped AI might be able to improve. Based on positive reviews on the internet and some amazing examples on their website, I tested the free download version of AVCLabs photo enhancer ahead of buying a subscription. I have to say it was hugely disappointing. I tested as many different settings as the Free version allowed and my low res pictures stayed decidedly low res - just bigger versions..! Possibly if you pay them money you get a better version but then they are stupid to offer such a rubbish trial. I am not going to subscribe to something that doesnt do what it says it will..

Dear User, We’re sorry to hear that your experience with our program did not match your expectations. We’d like to clarify that the free version processes images with the same AI models and quality as the paid version—the only difference is that the trial output includes a watermark. That said, the level of improvement can vary depending on the original image quality. Extremely low-resolution or heavily compressed photos often contain very limited detail for the AI to work with. If you’re open to it, we’d be happy to take a look at one or two of your images and see if we can optimize the settings for a better result. You can send them to us at [email protected], and we’ll respond promptly. Kind regards, AVCLabs Customer Support Team
