Ava has been with me on the long haul. It took me over a hear to get pregnant but I also was diagnosed with endometriosis, had a much delayed lap surgery and 6 months post surgery between the BBT and peeing on ovulation sticks i Just got my very first pregnancy test!

The bracelet is easy to use and comfortable. I don't notice it at all when I'm sleeping. The app is easy to navigate and understand. The app did a great job predicting my date of ovulation. I got it after I ovulated in month 1 and by the second month it predicted my ovulation perfectly (even moved it up a day), which is impressive because my cycles are still changing (have been getting shorter/shorter each time since I had my IUD removed). Ava helped me to plan ahead. I had a work trip scheduled and realized I'd be in my fertile window, so I was able to come home a day earlier. It was very helpful for me as well to look ahead a few months and think about what my schedule is like. AND I got pregnant! During my second cycle of using Ava! It is expensive, but if you want to nail down exactly when you're going to ovulate (and know your fertile days before the LH test turns positive), this bracelet is amazing.

My husband and I had been trying to conceive for over a year and the watch really helped us pin down the timing. It was recommended to us by another couple and we're happy we made the investment. Once I got the hang of using it, it was a great tool for accurately tracking my fertile window - that accuracy makes all the difference.

I believe Ava is a great tool, but it wasn’t quite as accurate as I needed to time getting pregnant. I still wore Ava throughout my conception journey, but found focusing on cervical mucus and cervix height, firmness, openness in conjunction with LH tests and also tracking bbt with a bbt thermometer to be more accurate. Trends and a biphasic pattern were much easier to see with bbt than with skin temperature. As I tracked these changes, my fertile window differed from ava’s prediction. I love the ease of use of Ava, but it wasn’t reliable enough to time sex for pregnancy. It also is inconvenient that it doesn’t link with apple health to share information.

Very helpful in understanding my body and my cycle! I lost the charger and was unable To find anywhere to buy a replacement charger. I also wasn’t sure for the first few days if I ONLY wear the Ava bracelet at night or during the day? I did see it said only 4 hours of data are needed but wasn’t sure if that was only at night. Other than that it was very successful and helpful in our pregnancy journey!!

The Ava bracelet is innovative and extremely useful. I was certainly glad to have it during the ttc process. However, the product is extremely poorly made and designed. The strap fails quickly because it is made of cheap material. They do not carry replacement bands for purchase so you must purchase an entirely new bracelet if it breaks out of warranty. This is exacerbated by the fact that Ava has not been updated in years so you are spending money on the same product you purchased before, knowing full well it will break again. The actual bracelet has errors constantly and customer support generally chalks it up to user error. The lights are confusing, they will come on at the most random times and there is no way to reset. The only insight you have into the inner workings are the lights so when they malfunction you are left wondering what happened. You can try resyncing which sometimes works to clear the light. Other times you have to just let it die before it will work again. It would be extremely helpful if you could get error notifications in the app to see what is happening with Ava. also - The app went down at one point and I was never contacted for an explanation.

Before using Ava, I had been using ovulation test strips and a period tracker app. While it may work for some, it didn’t work for me and left me feeling frustrated and confused month after month. Ava took less than two months to figure out my cycle and completely took the guessing game out of things. I am so thankful for Ava and excited to continue using it on this next journey!
