What a strange concept for marketing. They do not give you the mount to attack the unit, it is sold separately so if you buy the unit, I guess you have to duct tape it to your wall. I'd rather have them raise the price a tad and include that necessary item.

So far I've only caught mice but I got this to catch squirrels. No luck with them yet still trying.

Hi Ammo,
Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, the trap was designed to targert rats and mice only. However, there have been some third party trappers that have outfitted their A24 to target squirrels. We recommend checking their content out on YouTube and please let us know if we can help via [email protected]

Trap didn't work for me.
The trap was installed, per instructions, baited, and had zero results after 30 days. I returned the item and the company promptly refunded my money. Disappointed that the trap didn't work, but happy the company stood by their guarantee.

Love the quality and design
Love the quality and design. I have not found a bait that is highly effective. Most of my other traps get more kills but are a lot messier. Hoping to find a bait that works for my area.

Happened to be beside the trap at night…
Happened to be beside the trap at night and seen a mouse running around past your trap and didnt even care about the food. But did get 2 big rats but the mouse didn't seem to get them

Hi Joao,
Thanks for your feedback. It's possible the trap is set too high for the mice and the mice are not as hyper attractive to the chocolate bait lure.
Please feel free to contact us directly at [email protected] and we'd be happy to escalate this further.
Thanks,

Trap not working with new bait package
When I first bought the trap about a year ago it worked very well on mice and pack rats. I ordered new bait early this year and have not had the same success, although I'm still catching mice with traditional traps and see signs indicating the mice and rats are still around. I don't know if the new bait has a different formula(I noticed it is packaged differently), or if there is some other reason the vermin are avoiding the trap.

Hi Jerry,
Thanks for your feedback. It's possible the rats are not as attractive to the chocolate lure this time around, but the formula has not been modified except the packaging only.
Please contact us directly at [email protected] so we can personally help you with the best trapping support possible.
Thanks,

It does work
It does work, but not as good as other traps. I have no idea why. This one does work outdoors where battery ones don't because of rain or just from dew. I like this one because I don't have to rearm it. But the rats aren't that all attracted to it even though I use identical bait.
Elaboration: The site is central Florida. Used outside in a yard with oak and pine trees near our sheds. The rodent problem is rats. Squirrels too but those are not why I bought it for. I have rats that live in our sheds. I've attached the trap to a 2x4 so I can easily move the trap around. The provided bait caught 1 rat. The ants I believed ate the rest before it went bad. I now use Cheez-it as bait. Even though it only last a couple of days, I get a rat like 20% of the time. I used to use electronic ones where the rodents walked in and got electrocuted. Using Cheez-it it worked 90% of the time. The 3 cardboard bait things you are supposed to place to see if you have rodents in those areas? They didn't work at all. They still hanging and not a nibble on any of them even though I know the squirrels and rats are right there.

Great concept
Great concept, but our rats learned super quickly to avoid this. While the counter showed numerous "hits," I only ever found 1 deceased rat and our rat population never really decreased. I did read the literature and it said that we may not find many dead ones, as other vermin would likely drag off the bodies, but I didn't find this to be the case, as the rat paths were well-traveled directly underneath the system, no matter where I set it. Ultimately I reverted back to a black plastic snap trap, which I set right next to the A24, and caught a good number using that old-fashioned method and sunflower seeds as bait. I even changed out the bait area, modifying it to hold sunflower seeds rather than the "chocolate" syrup provided, and still no luck, even though I was catching several a week with the snap trap and same bait, set right next to the A24. I still like the concept, but our rats thumbed their nose at it, so for me, a waste of a good deal of money. It now sits in my garage, dusty.
