Auto Haul Express LLCReviews of autocarship.com

I canceled my transportation pickup before a driver was assigned which the contract allows for to receive a full refund of the $300 dollar deposit. I sent an e-mail as directed and never got a response. I text them after I sent the e-mail to insure they would respond. They responded to my text and said they would proceed with the cancellation and send me an e-mail. After getting no response after almost two weeks I called and asked what the problem was and the said that their Zelle account was down and the would send my money when it was back operating. Decided to see if they were just stalling I contaced them on a different email account asking if they could transport my car to Colorado and it's no problem for them. I would be able to Zelle them the deposit. Sent them a nasty e-mail and they said they would Zelle my money sometime today. Still nothing!!!

I was shipping a car to California to Texas. I put my information online to seek for a car shipping company. Auto Ship LLC reached out and called me and provided me with a quote of $750. They requested for a deposit of $200 (charged my account $207 through a credit card) upfront on April 23, 2026. I followed up to ensure the date of delivery and they didn't provide too much information, claiming that truckers did not want my car. In May, I continued to follow up and they could not provide with me additional information. Days prior to my expected deliver date, I had requested for a time of pick up and they did not provide any information. They claimed it was due to drivers not "making a deal" with them. Examples of text that I got thie morning of my expected delivery are "drivers we had yesterdays asked for more money and that's why I rejected them all. They were asking for $1800-$2000. I declined them all. Just found another carrier to pick up the car on Sunday. Delivery will be in 3 days." So I got an updated quote of $1700 and requested an additional deposit of $300 (charged my account ~$310 through a credit card) on May 29, 2026. After paying, the driver miraculously came TODAY (earlier than what was stated) and had informed me that I was scammed because he was reached out by them with my information. According to the driver, they did not post my car for shipping until this week and did not initially accept his offer. On my end, the company (or Simon) was saying that they could not secure any drivers because the prices of diesel was too high and the drivers were not accepting my car (or the price), which was not the case according this driver. Overall, I was not given the services I requested for and was given fraudulent prices. Their USDOT Number is 4197700. Other reviews are accurate that they constantly are changing names of their business. The business name on the contract slightly differs from the business that receives the payment.

WARNING: Auto Haul Express (also operating as AutoCarShip.com) engaged in what I can only describe as a bait-and-switch scam. We were quoted $900 to transport our car cross-country and booked THREE MONTHS in advance. Our rep, Steve Bravo, was extremely responsive — until we signed the contract and paid our deposit. After that, communication became a one-sided effort on our part. We periodically checked in to confirm our pickup date and were repeatedly told "all is good" and that we would be contacted one week before pickup. One week before — nothing. We reached out multiple times and were finally told we'd be contacted the day before with a pickup window. The day before — no call. We sent multiple calls and texts — no response. The day OF pickup — still no response. After hours of waiting and trying to reach someone, we received a single text saying the truck was full and our car would go on "the next truck." By this point, we had already traveled across the country. Our car was left at a friend's house on the East Coast with no pickup in sight. A week later, after again chasing down a response, we were told it would cost an additional $2,000 — TRIPLING our original quoted price — to ship our car. Meanwhile, friends who used a different transport company had zero issues — no communication problems, no missed pickup, no price increase. Their car arrived on time. Ours is still sitting on the East Coast. This company takes your deposit, goes silent, misses your pickup, and then holds your car hostage for triple the price. Avoid at all costs. We will also be filing complaints with the BBB, FMCSA, and our state Attorney General's office.

Worst experience I’ve ever had. Tyler Brown demonstrated extremely poor customer service from start to finish. I was told my vehicle would be picked up in Texas on Thursday and delivered to Vermont on Sunday. Instead, on Thursday I received a text message—because Tyler insists on communicating only through text, which is highly unprofessional—saying there would be a 24–48 hour delay because the driver was stopped by the police. I called Tyler multiple times and he refused to answer. Ten minutes later he finally texted back claiming he was “on lunch.” If that’s the case, why send an alarming message knowing you’re unavailable to communicate? Throughout our text exchange, Tyler became increasingly aggressive. I repeatedly requested a refund of my $207 deposit due to breach of contract, and he refused, claiming he had been “working on finding a driver since Monday” and that the situation wasn’t his fault. I explained several times that the contract his company provided was not honored. I asked to speak with a manager multiple times. Tyler told me, “I am the supervisor.” Moments later, I received a text saying the manager was available. When I called, it was Tyler again. When I asked for the manager, he suddenly claimed the manager was “at lunch and can’t talk.” At that point, I ended the call. Shortly after, Tyler texted offering a 50% refund. Absolutely not. I want a full refund. Your company failed to honor the contract—not me. I have since contacted my bank and forwarded the entire text message thread showing my repeated requests for a refund due to breach of contract. Please do not use this company. Save yourself the trouble!

This company appears to operate under many names. If you go to their website, autocarship.com, at the bottom of the page it clearly states "© 2026 Auto Car Ship LLC. Auto Car Ship LLC is a registered trade name of Auto Haul Express LLC. All rights reserved." I had a frustrating experience with Auto Haul Movers. I was initially quoted $400 for vehicle transport and paid a $150 reservation fee. However, once the deposit was paid, the price changed significantly. I was told a 'reputable' carrier would cost $900, while a $700 option was presented for a carrier that I was informed did not have valid insurance and had prior damage claims. While the company has since refunded my $150 deposit, the initial pricing process felt misleading, and I was uncomfortable with the carrier options provided. I would recommend others carefully review all terms and carrier details before committing. Why would a legitimate broker even have an uninsured, high-damage carrier in their network, let alone offer them as an option to a customer? This is a high-pressure scare tactic designed to bully you into paying double the original quote. I cancelled my order via email as per their contract, and they are now illegally withholding my refund. I have filed a formal complaint with the FMCSA National Consumer Complaint Database. Save yourself the stress and the money—go with a company that has actual integrity. They are professional liars.

Horrible experience told time and time again they where lining up a driver then would not hear anything back then suddenly ask for more money I believe they are scammers don’t trust them

MY mother had a terrible experience with this moving company and want to warn others before they lose their money like we did. They initially gave me a quote, we agreed on a price, and everything seemed fine — until they suddenly tried to raise the price THE DAY OF PICK UP!!! When I refused, they pressured me to sign a contract with terms I never agreed to. They currently have my money and refuse to give it back, no matter how many times we reach out. Their support team is completely unhelpful and shows zero concern for resolving the issue. It’s clear they have no intention of returning my payment or honoring their original agreement. This company is unprofessional, dishonest, and operates like a scam. Save yourself the stress do not use this moving company. Alex was the name of the employee that made this to be the ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY TO WORK WITH. -0 STARS
