I work for Allied in Jacksonville Florida as a Security Officer. I walked into their office told them the days I would work. They hired me on the spot & I had orientation the same day. When I asked about benefits they were very vague. Saying it depends on the site (which is BS) the work site I work on does offer security officers paid vacations & holiday pay but Allied does not give it to you. They just say that site doesn’t offer that. The pros about the job is you get paid every week and the work isn’t hard. The cons about the job are super poor communication, NO vacation, sick days, no holiday pay or PTO. If you ask about benefits management gets nasty with you. NO one answers emails, phone calls or calls you back. Allied will lie by omission, indirectly lie to you or outright lie to you. They don’t want to hear from you, they are just filling in spots….period. No matter what site you work on you will get NO benefits. If you looking for a job just to make a paycheck, this the place to work. Anything more, don’t bother.

Not a quality company. They pay low and send people to jobs who do not want to be there. I have been calling all the phone numbers for days and no one ever answers or call you back when you leave a message. I just want better guards sent to my location.

I went there thinking they were doing a lot of hiring and I could get a job quickly. The first day they asked if I already had a guard card, I said no so they gave me information about getting one. I spent money that I did not have obviously because im out of work. Just to be told later that I have neck tattoos and some clients dont like that. Well I had neck tattoos when you told me to get a guard card. Mind you a collar would easily cover the tats that I have. They then say we mostly need people that have a car, which I didnt have when they told me to spend money for the guard card. In Los Angeles so many people are looking for work that they can pick and choose. They choose people that have experience and have a car. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME IF YOU ARE NEW. They don't have a problem with making a person that's looking for work waste their money. And I notice that each time I did go in for an interview I had to keep lowering the pay I would accept. They pay less than McDonalds. They pay around $16 an hour for you to risk your life, drive your car around and to be on call. Because they had no full time jobs and all the people they hire are on call and only called in when they need them to cover for someone. None of this I was told before spending money for a guard card. I would NOT recommend. Now technically I could keep trying but swear to you each time I went in for an interview there was someone there claiming that their pay was messed up. Either they had not been paid or it was short. So I take this as a message to take my loss on the guard card or find work elsewhere.

Racism; Harassment; Disrespectful with females; Breaking the law; Union not cooperated. I've more than 17 Years of professional work experience in Big 4 Security Industries for instance G4s; Garda; Commissionaires. I worked with Allied Universal more than 2 Years, joined in 2019. worked in 3 sites with them, No issue in 2 sites but when they sent me in Amazon Markham Ontario. The supervisor & Account manager both gave me a hard time & extra ordinary work. 95% of the security, The supervisor hired by his own source/power with his own Indian community. rest of 5% from South Africa; Canada; Pakistan e.t.c. I stayed Outside the facility more than 1 Hour in a Very Cold weather and after performing more than 25 Tariler’s Inspection turned back again to the same location covering the whole perimeter to the Generator location just to Turn-On/open the Generator, the weather was very tough and Cold Outside, but I Turned-On all the 4 Big Generator, this New additional job was beyond our scope and agreement but still I did perform it with effectively and efficiently. Result of this I got a bleeding with my sliva, when I return back to the Facility Centre. I visited to AM Care YYZ-9, they checked my Blood Pressure and asked some health related issues/questions, then he made a report that due to heavy trailer your shoulder got hurt and blood coming out with my sliva. He added that I must make an appointment with the Doctor. He wrote the reason why I got these injuries and given it to me which I already have shown to my Supervisor Gurjeev Singh. all guards except for Supervisor Gurgeev Singh, was performing our duties Without Leaning or Sitting on any normal chair means Continuously 5 Hours on Standing post. Result comes out of my Back Pain. I’ve an appointment on this Monday with my Doctor to show my Back Pain & Bleeding, let see what will come out in the Ultrasound Report. According to the Labour Law, all of the employees has a “Right to Refuse the work, If it is Not Safe.” I faced Potential workplace Violence and harassment with my Supervisor Gurjeev Singh. He discriminate me and give favour/liberty to the security Guards he like examples are S/o Sahil Sharma, He provided him the laptop Every single day Since October I observed he (Sahil Sharma) used Visits Different web sites for his Personal Use also He Use Blue tooth To talking most of the time while doing the job, Do you think it is Ok in the work site?? I Also observed Supervisor Gurjeev Singh giving Liberty/favour to S/o Sahil Sharma in the work as he Don't even do the Alarm Monitoring more than 50 Minutes. actually S/o Sahil Sharma does the Graftti Very Quickly & returned back and sit down in the Chair Long Hours in the Security Frontv Desk and do Gossiping/talking with the Supervisor But me & other Security does 3-4 Hours Patrol/alarm Monitoring/Rover Position. This is purely called Discrimination. I'm also observing But Keep quiet Since October-2020, Supervisor Gurjeev Singh leave the site for an Hour or sometimes more around 18:30 and then comeback with sleepy eyes, means daily supervisor sleep One Hour in his vehicle. My supervisor Gurjeev Singh uses phone long hours @ the time of performing his duties mostly after 18:00 pm for personal calls. Watching movies; Songs; Music. I sent an E-mail C.C. to Mangement; HR Kiara Mediros Paul Bradly Subject: RE: Facing Racism/Discrimination & Potential workplace Violence and Harassment with my Supervisor Gurjeev Singh & Accounts manager Patel, Kshitij. But they Didn't listen my issues instead they favour all of those indian community who did Racism/Discrimination & Potential workplace Violence and Harassment with me.

My husband had worked for this company for over two years until they were replaced by another security company. Allied was given enough to give everyone a $2 in the hour raise but kept it all except 71¢ . When they were replaced they cheated everyone out of 1 days pay and told employees they have to prove they owe it to them. The people they hired were mostly foul mouthed dirty lazy people. Not all of them but the majority. When my husband had to actually engage in a situation where someone broke into a federal site and he stopped them, put his life in true danger, there was no thank you or anything! My husband is a retired Marine Corp veteran but the upper echelon off site are very rude and unprofessional! Maybe depending on the site a person works it could be better but don't hold your breath!

I lost my pocket wallet yesterday 4,1,2024 i told the security who attended me at the door of the office what had happend and the time and were possibly i has lost the wallet and spot . So he can review the cameras and see if a person had took the wallet i can identified the person , he told me i cant look at the cameras but i can get u number in case something come up . Worst services for square one mall in sagus mass

This happened a while ago but I thought I’ll share my story… I worked for Allied about almost for a year back in 2021. Never had any write ups, never called out. They fired me over a mistake I didn’t make with no proof. I worked for Dewan Green. He is an unprofessional/rude account manger that acts like a female when he is under pressure. Once he stops liking you, he will find any reason to get rid of you. he does not care about his women employees. Highly recommend not to work there at the innsbrook site, very unorganized.

Wasted my time was told I was supposed to have a phone interview at 10am no one ever called and they bailed on me. Not Professional or business like definitely disappointed
