I worked at this company for…
I worked at this company for approximately four months, and it was one of the most disorganized workplaces I have ever experienced. Working in the office was extremely stressful because employees were regularly blamed for issues they had no control over. It was common to be reprimanded for mistakes made by other employees, creating a chaotic and unprofessional work environment. Customer complaints were frequent. I regularly had to process refunds and reschedule students because instructors failed to show up, arrived late, or lessons had to be canceled. Many customers also expressed frustration with the way management communicated with them. During my employment, I witnessed inconsistent management decisions regarding employee discipline. One instructor was repeatedly fired and then brought back to work almost immediately. I was instructed by management to contact this employee and have him return, only to later be blamed for doing exactly what I had been told to do. I also observed behavior from that instructor that I believed raised serious safety and professionalism concerns, including frequently missing scheduled lessons and appearing to sleep during work hours. Despite repeated issues, management continued allowing him to work. This was very concerning given that students were relying on the company for driving instruction. During my employment, I was contacted by a police officer regarding an incident in which an instructor was accused of shoplifting while driving a company vehicle with a student present. Based on what I experienced afterward, I was concerned that management continued allowing the instructor to work despite the seriousness of the situation. I resigned once because the work environment had become too chaotic. Management convinced me to return by promising a raise and assuring me that the workplace would improve and that I would no longer be expected to handle so many issues outside my job responsibilities. Unfortunately, nothing changed, and I ultimately resigned again. Throughout my time there, I spent countless hours rescheduling students and handling refund requests because of missed appointments, late instructors, and poor organization. Instructors—and even the employee responsible for administering road tests—were frequently late, which reflected poorly on the business and inconvenienced customers. After I left, I received messages from management threatening legal action over my opinions and claiming I had no proof of my experiences. I found these messages to be intimidating and unnecessary. I was also told by management that I would be paid personally if I could help obtain 50 positive reviews within one week to offset the company's negative reviews. That conversation further damaged my confidence in the business and how it handled customer feedback. Based on my firsthand experience as an employee, I cannot recommend working for or doing business with this company. I encourage anyone considering this business to read multiple reviews and make an informed decision.
