I am trying to get help on a refund for 2 tickets. I purchased them individually and I was not able to go see the movie because the movie theater I bought the tickets for refused to let us in saying they were closed. It was not only me and my friend it was about 7 other people that also were told they could not go in so i would like a refund for both of my tickets and the agent helping me is refusing to refund me both tickets so the customer service for atom is horrible

I really enjoyed using this service until I purchased a gift card. Admittedly before I purchased a gift card I had no issues with Atom tickets. Since I enjoyed the service I decided to purchase a discounted gift card from sams club. The first scary thing that happened is they do not let you add your gift card to your account. No that was not a typo. You need to go through checkout and then when the payment field comes up you then have to put in your information. But wait there is more. You would assume that next time you want to checkout your gift card would of course be tied to your account. No, Atom does not allow this. You have to then enter the gift yet again and keep that paper or physical card handy. Having to keep track of a card is a very shady business practice as most people are not very organized. Luckily I am very organized so although it was a major inconvenience I was able to handle it. Then the real issues started happening. It was time to book my family for another movie. I got to the checkout screen and although I had plenty of money on my gift card I got an error. That was weird. I typed it in again and another error. Of course time was of the essence so I had to then use my credit card and I figured I would reach out to customer service so they could fix it. We are now 4 months in, I stopped using Atom Tickets b/c the same issue happened again and customer service has done nothing. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

Customer service is horrible! They take 2 weeks to respond, but yet when they ask for information through email, they expect it right away or they will close the case.

I wanted to cancel a ticket through the Atom app DAYS before the showing. The app didn’t allow me, it gave me an error, “try again later”. I tried hours later to cancel, still nothing. Emailed Atom support, no response. Emailed again the next day, no response. The day of the movie came, now it’s a refund, emailed them, no response. They didn’t answer me a week and a half AFTER the movie and now they can’t give me a refund because the movie already played. My ticket is unused and I’m sure they can see that. I messaged days before, even sent them screenshots and they have no principles or ethics to refund when it was their fault for not answering in a timely manner and for not having a reliable app. They are thieves. Unethical. Faulty. Do not recommend.
