Ordering was easy and shipping was fast. The flavor is unremarkable and the protein extremely sweet. It is too sweet but I'll finish it. I use another protein that also comes in bags and there is no comparison for flavor. I don't get bloated from my primary protein but may get bloated from athlene x. If you like sweet, really sweet, you may like this.

I’m giving it 3 stars because they offer you their supplement at a discount then charge you shipping equal to the amount and then charge you import fee, that they don’t show when you pay, so you end up paying more then the original price. You are better off sourcing them locally.

Hi Tyler, we thank you for your feedback however would like to clarify. Shipping is free to customers who place orders over $75 within the continental United States. Your order was shipped to Canada. All international orders incur shipping charges as we simply cannot afford to provide our supplements internationally while absorbing these charges. That said, please understand we have absolutely NO control over any import fees you may be charged. This is entirely determined by customs and local taxes. This is NOT something that ATHLEAN-X has any say in. That said, we do hope to be able to provide local sources in the near future to allow you to continue to enjoy our top tier products without any need for shipping at all. Thank you again for your feedback and for being a valued member of TEAM ATHLEAN.

The company is great.
The company is great.
The programmes need to update with the times.
They're overly complex.
Not difficult. Complex.
The difficulty is actually good. It's that fact that I like. The issue is the tech… in modern day we mostly use phones and for good reason. Convenience.
Having to open a website, to watch an 11 - 15 minutes video prior to exercise adds barriers. It's an inconvenience that will put off new people and also existing users. Because, I want to get in the gym and then I have to do other stuff. The website doesn’t always work and it’s clunky.
Second part would be random exercises which aren’t always doable in the gym or different names etc, don't work for a reason, that's why communities of all industries have standards and common terminology.
I do like the programme, but my god is it not convenient.
—————Update —————
Please just get a mobile app. I’m sure people would volunteer to make a simple one for free at this point. College projects and all that.

Hey Zac, thanks for your feedback. We try our best to deliver our science backed programs to our users in as streamlined manner as possible without sacrificing the value of what Jeff Cavaliere provides to his viewers and followers - the WHY to go along with the WHAT - so that we can empower our trainees at the same time we're training them. That said, at times the information delivery can be challenging if you're trying to consume it all while you're at the gym rather than relying on the summary workouts and notes we have compiled to streamline the process when accessing from the gym. In these cases, we always recommend watching the walkthrough video for the workout prior to heading to the gym if able and using the workout lists to get to the essentials needed for training when it's "go time". We do appreciate your input however and continue to find ways to improve the delivery system so that is found to be convenient to ALL who use it. This may be a lofty, and some might say, even impossible goal - but we won't stop until we do! Thanks for being a valued member of TEAM ATHLEAN. We hope you'll come back again in the future.

Many good programs (not all of them), but not always delivering on promises
I have been a fan of Jeff’s programs for almost two years. I have completed Beaxst twice, Xero, Athlean X 1 and 2, and have abandoned Xero2 (the program is a big disappointment). Not all the programs have been realized with the same dedication.
I recently bought the Homecoming pack (Jacked + Elast-X). The programs are very good, but I am disappointed about the fact that they promised a full integration between the two programs, and it is not the case. The only thing the programs have in common is the calendar structure. That’s it. They are in reality stand alone programs and they should be advertised as such. I wrote the customer service about it and they just said you can switch anytime between the two programs, without specifying a method. This is not what I would call an integration. I must say that every time I contacted the customer service for a workout related question, I was disappointed. They answer very quickly (good), but the answer is always very generic and basic. Hence I cannot rate Athlean X with more than 3 stars. Room for improvement guys…

Meal plan is lacking
I'm using the program made just for women and the workouts are legitimate. They are on par with the workouts I do with my personal trainer and so far are a good supplement to keep me on track to my goals. The eating plan however is not useful. To put it simply, the body you want is made in the kitchen not the gym. Poor eating/nutrition can and will undermine your workouts. What is provided in the program contains too little information to be helpful to those who need/want actual guidance. I'm 5'0'' and 123lbs and for medical reasons can't be on a high-protein diet and my coworker is 5'10" 180lbs and is diabetic - we have different nutritional needs. There is NOTHING in the meal "plan" to assist with these types of differences or a host of factors a true meal plan would address. Not even a discussion of what to consider when you make meals like for instance ingredient proportions. I actually thought the website was broken or I missed a link because it is so lacking. Really a shame. People who don't know any better will be disappointed in that piece and probably find they won't make the progress they expect until they do some research and build themselves a real plan, supported by science and medically appropriate. On the flip-side, the program does give you quite a lot on their supplements which may be why the meal plan is not much of a plan.

This review is for the Body Weight…
This review is for the Body Weight Program:
Pros: The workouts are effective, and will get you a good sweat.
Cons:
1. My biggest annoyance is that many times after Jeff starts going over the routine, this loud heavy metal music kicks in. I have no idea why. It's distracting and makes it hard to hear what he's saying.
2. While there are sample videos on how to do the exercises, there are also large chunks of text to read, which can be tedious.
3. I've found at least one example of the incorrect video example for the exercise being asked to do.
4. The duration of the rest periods and when to do them can be confusing.

My experience here is somewhat mixed
My experience here is somewhat mixed. I did AX-1 a couple of times, but kept failing the final exam. Sure, you could say that's on me, but I'll be honest and say I didn't gain a lot of muscle or strength on this program. I was eating right, attending without fail and throwing in a couple of TNTs every week, but I just sort of plateaued.
I think the issue for me is that this program focuses a lot on isolation exercises and 'conditioning'. And while I understand it is a program for novices, the glaring lack of regular big, compound lifts means progress in terms of building stregth is very slow. There's only one day a week where lower body really gets a look-in too, so I found my gains to be unevenly distributed more towards upper-body, with my leg development lacking.
Ultimately, the whole 'train like an athlete thing' is just not for me. I would rather be big, ripped, and lift heavy and often, focusing on size and strength. Four weeks of Jeff Nippard's fundamentals programme has done more for my gains than six months of Athlean X.
I'd also echo another review here in that many of Athlean X's AX-1 exercises are overly elaborate. Unnecessarily so. Examples are many, but I want to spend more time working out than setting up and I have actually missed parts of the workout on some days as the exercises required me to span two pieces of equipment, both of which had to be available.
Finally, the rest periods. In AX-1, the rest periods between sets are 1 minute in almost all cases. This is too short. Let's say you're doing back squats. You're expected to rep to failure, with the 12th rep constituing that failure and the weight adjusted to make a 13th rep impossible. Apart from this being hard to calculate, let's say you do your first set to failure, then hit the stopwatch and wait a minute.
After a minute, you've not had enough rest and you will likely manage no more than 6-7 reps on your second set unless you take off some weight. The science recommends 3-4 minutes between big compound movements, and when you do it this way you can get to 12 on each set, maximising volume and time under tension. Similarly the best rest period for isolation exercises is two minutes not one. With only one minute, sets two and three (and four) are massively compromised.
If you want to get bigger and stronger there are much better programs. If you want to get 'fit' then there's nothing wrong with Athlean X. If you're a beginner and need a stepping stone to a better understanding of fitness in general, this is a good choice, and the community is always there to help when you get stuck, which makes it worth the money you will pay.

Watch his youtube channel and take some…
Watch his youtube channel and take some decent exercises from it but his website is a little steep, $100 for a program :/ i do feel like he needs to recognize that teens watch him too, $100 is a lot of money even for working people never mind students like myself...was wanting to buy a program that actually works and will help lose fat & gain muscle at the same time but i think $100 is too much especially when the cheapest gym near me is £20 a month plus fuel costs and so on...and thats just for fat & muscle then there is other programs such as the ultimate arms workout which is another $80.
Also, he needs to realize 99% of his viewers won't have access to private or their own fancy gym like him...the programs are web based meaning you've got to sit with browser open and use your internet or hope the gyms public internet is decent..they deffo need to make an app with offline access so you can download programs and take them gym and watch them even without internet..with the amount of money he's making i'm pretty sure that would be worth it...and programs require you to take up a few machines sometimes which you cant do in public gyms.
Think for now i will have to stick with just youtube.
