Great top-of-foot surround, feels just the right amount of snug. Very comfortable all around. But the hallmark, as marketed, is the grip, wet or dry. I feel more grounded and stable in these than in my long-time steady diet — FootJoy Icon soft spikes. My only disappointment is these aren’t yet available in dark brown and black so I can spread the wear across three pair, like I do with my Icons. Because they’re so new to me, I’m also hoping they wear well and hold up well over time.

Richard, thank you for taking the time to write this review! We are so happy that you can feel the overall comfort and stability that the Athalonz EnVe golf shoe has to offer, especially in terms of comparing it to the traditional soft spike shoe. Fortunately, we will be out with our new black color way within the next few weeks and begin pre-sale soon! Please keep and eye out for that and we look forward to serving a loyal customer as yourself again! -Team Athalonz

I'm not convinced that I'm using the ground more powerfully, but I do like these shoes, fit well and comfortable.
Response from AthalonzAug 1, 2019
Douglas, thank you for your kind, 5 star review! We always appreciate feedback on our products and we hope that you feel the difference between the EnVe and other golf shoes as you continue golfing. Comfortability is an important factor in any golf shoe, so we are glad to hear that they are providing you with that on the course. Happy golfing! -Team Athalonz
Thane S.
Nice looking golf shoe! comfortable enough. Fit small to size. I am a 11 in every golf shoe. These fit A half size smaller
Response from AthalonzAug 1, 2019
Thane, thank you for sharing your experience with the sizing of the shoe compared to other shoes. It is sometimes difficult to accurately suggest a size to our customers, as they seem to fit everyone differently, especially with and without the upgraded insole kit. We are glad to hear, however, that you like the look and that they are fitting you comfortably! -Team Athalonz

Great Service on an exchange and quality pair of shoes
Response from AthalonzAug 1, 2019

Oliver
Although, I love the design of the shoe... it is too narrow for my feet (I normally wear a New Balance size 9 width 4E). However, Athalonz was very understanding on the return. I told them I would buy them again, once they offered the shoes in extra wide. It's a shame, too.... I had a good deal ($25 for signing up, free shipping & handling, and then they had a price reduction from $199 to $159). Oh well, next time....
Response from AthalonzAug 1, 2019
Oliver, although the shoes did not work out for you in the end, we understand your return and are here to help our customers out as much as possible. We also appreciate the 5 star review. If anything changes with sizing in the future, we will be sure to let all of our customers know! -Team Athalonz
Freda B.
The fit and performance of the golf shoe on the course was excellent. The reason for the 3 star rating is the fact that within seven days of purchasing the shoe from Canada (and paying 30% exchange rate), Athalonz announces to the public a 41.00 USD reduction in price! I believe committed customers should receive a heads up on price reductions within 14 days of purchase.
Response from AthalonzAug 1, 2019
Freda, we understand your concerns and appreciate the time you took to write this review. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about the exchange rate, but we do understand your frustration on purchasing right before a price reduction. If you are not currently on our email list, then there was no way to know that there was going to be a price reduction. We are sorry to about this inconvenience but are glad to hear that the shoes are performing great for you on the course! -Team Athalonz
