If you but a mount for an older car
(Edit) so far a tach customer service is better than expected. They are willing to send me a new mount and has reassured me that the mount was manufactured recently so the plastic is not aged. If you but a mount for an older car, they are shipping old stock with aged brittle plastic that will snap when you try to install.
