First of all, in order to register, every user takes a short video of herself holding the ID, stating the current date, and confirming consent for the registration out loud. Secondly, we verify if the information provided in the registration video corresponds to the profile info. Our moderators check if it is the same person — both at the video and at the profile picture. Hence, we can assure the person you are talking to is the person you see in the profile. Lastly, we verify if the personal documents user attaches are valid. If a profile does not meet the requirements of the check-up at any of the abovementioned stages, it gets deactivated. Furthermore, we try to make sure that all the validated members are interested in communication with other members of the website. Our users’ profiles are not confirmed unless we verify their ID and background. Our regional partners make sure that there are no bogus profiles, that the user you look at in the profile pictures is the person you are corresponding with (such profiles have a label "Validated member"). Also, we make sure as much as we are able to that the user is single and interested in communication with other members of the platform. We require to see photo IDs of all our Validated Members. In case a member gives rise to our suspicion, we may take additional steps to verify the profile, such as asking her to record an identification video for us. They do so by presenting documents and recording a video. Once the Moderation team receives such information, the member's profile becomes verified, meaning there is a Verified Member sign. In addition, we want to inform you that we do not pay the validated members for communication with other users and prohibit our Regional Partners to do so. If we find out that the user is paid by the Partner for communication on his/her behalf, we fine the Partner and immediately delete the user’s profile. However, it always depends on the person whether s/he wishes to send/reply in chats/letters or like the profile/photo, we cannot force them. We give all the members an opportunity to initially reach the man/woman they are interested in. We understand that this amount of chat invitations can be a little frustrating but for now, we don`t have the feature of limiting the chats requests.
