Petroboyz Entertainment is publicly exposing ASCAP for systematic tracking failures and non compliance regarding our 5 year writer royalty backlog. As a disabled veteran owned independent business we fought for our country only to have this corporate society withhold our global revenues for months. Our official international audit completely concluded on June 3 2026. Internal specialists verified last week that the manual ledger calculation was finalized and cleared. Yet today during the active August window front - line phone reps gave us the runaround claimed we were not scheduled and stated they could not even forward the file to management. We have officially filed a formal administrative complaint directly with the U.S. Department of Justice [DOJ] Antitrust Division and notified the SDNY Rate Court compliance monitors regarding these distributions withholding practices. We will not be ignored and we will not accept undocumented excuses. ASCAP must release Petroboyz Entertainment verified 5year writer royalty backlog totals immediately.

I tried to become a member of ASCAP, but their bot couldn't read my ID. After several weeks and back and forth emails with their "support" I gave up. They were not able to let my ID simply be checked by a human.

I did update my contract and tried to pay within 30 days of new contract date to get 10% discount, but they rejected the discount due to new contract date is later than original due date. They should make that very clear.

They just do not care about their lesser-known artists. It's been nothing but frustrating trying to get my publishing worked out and everyone I've dealt with was extremely rude and condescending. It's already hard enough navigating the current landscape in the modern music industry, money is non existent except for a few really big artists. Smaller artists like myself really just do it for the love of music. It's def not financially motivated. But somehow ASCAP makes it even worse than it needs to be. I'm done. Stay away from this trash company.

I contacted their member services with a simple request: please give me a contact email for one of your affiliated companies. They replied with a link to their search facility which allowed me to list the songs that firm that published - but did not give any contact details! They had obviously not read my enquiry but just sent a standard reponse.
