I went to their Bank today to open a Savings Account - otherwise they would not exchange foreign currency (Euro) It took forever to get to the point where they exchanged my Euro into Dollar and they gave me over $400.00 less than what my Euros were worth PLUS charged me $20.00 fee!!! To top it all off - my money will not be available until next week. I thought, another savings account at a different bank could not hurt anything - but, I am closing this account as soon as I get my money out of it because a guy named Geren Dalton treated me as if I was dumb!!! I believe Arvest employs too many young people who have no idea what customer service and integrity is all about. I do not see a good future for this bank.

I’m giving Arvest Bank 2 stars because they have free notary services for members. Sneaky Arvest! Suddenly my monthly service fee went up from $3 a month to $10. Without my consent they switched my account and said later that they got rid of my old checking account service. ??? I don’t recall signing anything or consenting to this! Sneaky sneaky bank. Yes, I will close this and go to the more reputable bank I have been considering for quite awhile now. Booo Arvest

After a series of frustrating experiences with Arvest, I felt compelled to write my first-ever review of a mortgage company and I am doing on multiple sites. I own multiple properties and have worked with various companies, but my interactions with Arvest have consistently been disappointing. Recently, I received a letter requesting proof of insurance, even though it had already been submitted. I sent the documents again, ensuring all the necessary details were included. Less than 30 days later, they acknowledged receipt but claimed the policy was missing the "Deductible." However, the document clearly listed "Deductibles" along with the percentages and amounts (1% & $2,530). It seems whoever reviewed the document failed to properly read or understand the information provided. While they do offer competitive interest rates, their lack of organization, poor communication, and repeated mishandling of paperwork make them a frustrating company to deal with. If you have another option with a comparable rate, I strongly recommend choosing the other lender.

My location in Norman OK is closed on Saturdays? That's the day most people are off to get things done. Poor service!
