Customer
Unprofessional - Incompetent - Unethical
I had a very unprofessional experience at the Midwest City Arvest branch. When I initially opened my account 6/18/26, the process took over 45 minutes, largely due to repeated interruptions from a manager who entered the office multiple times without knocking or respecting the appointment. During this time, employees were openly discussing another customer’s personal situation as I looked at him in the lobby, including details about his inheritance and adoption, which raised serious concerns about privacy. After completing the paperwork, I discovered that my name had been entered incorrectly. I emailed the banker (Ms. Klein) on June 18 and 19 and received no response. On June 20, I also contacted customer service and spoke to Justin who informed me that my Social Security number or EIN did not bring up any account at all. The login credentials I was provided did not work, and I was unable to access the account, which forced me to return to the branch in person. When I returned, both the banker and manager entered my name incorrectly again and initially refused to reprint the paperwork, even though the documents clearly reflected incorrect information. After insisting, the documents were reprinted, but the account was still set up incorrectly. This time it listed my name and then the business and was set up with my SSN vs the EIN. My business is established as an LLC in the business name, registered with the state of Oklahoma, and the IRS. The mgr. refused to set up the account in the business structure and he was rude. There was a long line of customers waiting on a Saturday, while two employees couldn't figure out how to set up a business account. This is quite disturbing. At that point, I requested the account be closed and withdrew my funds. Between multiple employees, including management, the branch was unable to correctly open a basic business account. I also submitted a formal complaint on June 23 to Arvest's customer service email and have received no response. This experience reflected a lack of professionalism, attention to detail, communication, and respect for customer privacy.
