It is awful. I regret paying for Artist Pro. They reject my music because of artwork and no proof that the artwork is mine seems to be looked at. I tried releasing explicit and non explicit versions of the same song, they accepted the explicit one and rejected the clean version declaring I should not be calling the song clean if there is no explicit version for it! What??? Then I try to take down the explicit version cos I am totally giving up on Soundcloud now and they reject the takedown!

Disgusting! I’m paying for soundcloud for Artists Pro for about 5 years and there was a lot of problems with this music distributor. First of all - support almost not existing. Reply time is about 2-4 weeks. They can decline your track without any specific reason. But what’s most suprising - my account was banned! When? In the moment when i received one of the biggest statements, the day before payout. Coincidence? I don’t think so. Of course they frozen my money till when? No one knows. Reason? No one knows. What gonna happen with my collected money in my account? I don’t know. All i got is this e-mail „ we are no longer able to offer you access to SoundCloud for Artists as a result of using SC4A to monetize and/or distribute content that is for monetization or violates the Community Guidelines of our partners.” A lot of „or” but nothing specific, they didn’t know themselves? I’m not the first one who experienced such a thing with them doing nothing bad. Now i can’t even log in, can’t move my tracks to another music distributor, literally can’t do nothing even find ISRC codes of my tracks. Currently waiting for another answer from them. I will add another review if i will get it…

The approval process is intermittent, some tracks get approved and other similar tracks don't, it then becomes a hassle to approve (if at all). Getting support is like spotting a unicorn If they could get their review and support processes right they'd have the potential to be the one of the best distributors

I used the SoundCloud Artist distribution offer. It’s been over a week and the track is just sitting there “in review”... No additional information, and the distribution process is painfully slow.

This is a message that we had to send SoundCloud today and SoundCloud for Artists. Hi there, I’ve been experiencing an ongoing issue with your support team that’s now affecting a time-sensitive release. I have a track scheduled to go live tomorrow, and we’ve already filmed the music video in preparation. However, the track was rejected due to a claim that I do not own the rights, which is incorrect. I’ve already sent the license documentation to your support team, but I’ve received no response. I even resent the email due to the lack of acknowledgment, which is especially frustrating given that we are paying for Artist Pro and expect at least basic support. This isn’t the first issue we’ve encountered with your platform. Another artist on our label had their track repeatedly removed by SoundCloud, ultimately forcing them to switch to Ditto Music, where their release went live on all platforms without a single issue. Unfortunately, that artist will not be returning to SoundCloud, and I can’t say I blame them. I’m asking that someone from your team please review the license documentation and resolve this issue as soon as possible so I can meet my deadline. If this isn’t addressed promptly, I will be forced to move to a more reliable distributor and share this experience publicly, including on platforms like Trustpilot, to inform other artists of how we’ve been treated. Please escalate this and get in touch urgently.

Don't Buy Artist or Artist Pro. Soundcloud has turned into a scam company. They keep advertising services as Monetization and Distribution but they don't have the capacity to provide them. Tracks are in review for months. The support is not existent and has been replaced by AI. It's super frustrating and there are better alternatives online. Just don't use Soundcloud if you care about your mental health. PS: Check Reddit or X. They are full of complaints every day.

No ticket answered in over a month! This is absolutely ridiculous

Like everyone else, I paid for my a pro subscription. I uploaded a few songs from a completed album that I have an official copyright licensing certificate for, but many of my songs were rejected without any official reason or a chance to submit my proof of copyright licensing rights. Like many other scam companies, they do not have any real way to connect with them to cancel and/ or be refunded, so just save yourself the hassle and don't bother paying for the pro subscription. It is nearly impossible to be refunded, also it is smart if you do sign up to contact your credit card company to block them from future payments as they are known for automated subscription charges even after you cancel.
