We've been having fun with our Orba. We play music and have a lot of friends who do, too. We've brought it to a BBQ and it was such a hit - everyone played with it. I love how easy and portable it is. It also sits my my desk at home where I can just play with it when I'm taking a thinking break from my computer.

My wife got this for my birthday (per my hints). I loved this thing. A few days in I realized that the mobile and desktop apps wouldn’t work even though I had the approved firmware, software, and computer components. I reached out to “customer support”. They took forever to get back to me and they gave me a non answer…. “Check out our FAQ page on our website”… yeah… I had already done that. Then the device became unresponsive after 24 days of having it in hand. I tried everything on FAQ and reached out to them. They took their sweet time to run out the 30 day warranty. THIS IS A SCAM, THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD! Don’t buy anything Artiphon. If it was $40 I’m be bummed. It’s roughly $100 so this is a SCAM. You will not get any customer / company support and they’re hard to research.

Hey Tyler, I'm glad we were able to get a new Orba out to you and resolve this issue. It's very important to us that every one of our customers has a positive musical experience with their instrument. Please let us know in our email thread if we can help with anything else.

Artiphon Orba: a wonderfully unique piece of music hardware, that works as a standalone unit in addition to being a midi controller. Customer support is fantastic: was a pleasure to support this smaller music company as it creates accessible instruments.

i love many things: the orba instrument per se, the connectivity to my macbook, also wireless, and the potential of many possible setups. The design, the usability, and the sound is really great!

The product is amazing! I bought the Orba (on a whim) from the MoMA store. I couldn't be more pleased. It is my favorite new toy. All of the materials from and interactions with Artiphon have been just as positive!
