Good luck getting support
Charged $408 for shipping a $600 item. Told me that I needed to help the driver get the item off the truck because he didn't have a dolly and didn't have anyone there to help him. Had to hire a tasker, completely uproot my day, and go meet a driver. Reached back out to Army Navy Outdoors to see what they were gonna do to make it right, and they said nothing.

Sorry the delivery was a frustrating experience. The shipping was quoted and agreed up front, so there were no surprise charges, and sold metal bunkbeds and items like this ship freight, which is curbside only. Inside delivery isn't something the freight carriers offer, and the redeliveries were set up directly with the carrier. We know freight can be a hassle when you're not expecting how it works, and we're always happy to walk through it beforehand. We want to always make sure you know what to expect and have a good experience.

100% false advertisement.
100% false advertisement. They show pictures of mre entrees in grouping of 8 with a price of 4.95. Listing says entrees. Nope. It 5 bucks for one tiny meal when an entire mre pack is sold for 3.99 on the same site!! They sell 24 entee and side packs, Lol. Nope. They will give you whatever they feel like. How about 5 entrees and 19 sides??? Total scam. STAY AWAY
Response from Army Navy OutdoorsAug 1, 2026
Thanks for the feedback, and sorry for any confusion on the MRE options. Our 24-piece case is actually entree-heavy, usually around 18 entrees to 6 sides, though the exact mix can vary a bit by what's in stock. It's put together as an assortment of both. We also sell single entrees, single sides, and full MRE meals as their own products, so a single component is priced lower than a complete meal. It's made to be a lower price and good value over 2 cases of full meals for those who do not need the extras and just the real contents.

Paid for 2 cases of mres that never came. They are telling me I should call my landlord and the police. Sent me a picture of boxes outside someone's door who lives on the first floor, I live on the 3rd. They wont replace it, its been a week. Said FedEx is investigating. So I had to go to my bank and put in a dispute. Paid 120.00 for absolutely nothing

Sorry for the hassle with this order. A missing package is frustrating, and we do take care of these. When a carrier drops a package at the wrong address, we work with FedEx or USPS to track it down and send the driver back, and if it was their error, we file a claim and make it right with a reship or refund. The carrier investigation can take a few days, which we know is tough when you're waiting so we always suggest seeing if it was just next door for faster results but it's always taken care of.

We ordered three wool blankets
We ordered three wool blankets. When we opened the packaging, there was a horrible chemical smell with each...and just holding them left a sticky chemical residue on your hands. Since they are not washable (per tag) we "off-gassed" them outside on our covered porch. The next morning, the chemical smell was still there, but they were wet. They picked up moisture from the air - wool does not turn wet from humidity. They will take them back IF I enclose them as they came (for resale purposes) and pay for shipping and insurance. We will never purchase from the again.
Response from Army Navy OutdoorsAug 1, 2026
Sorry these weren't right for you. These are listed as 50% wool and 50% blended fibers. They are sealed in plastic and it's very possible they can hold a smell at first that airs out once it breathes. We did offer a free return label but I understand it did not work out but that was not our intention.

Sold me an old musty/dirty tent with numerous issues and repairs needed. They claim it was as described, which I suppose with a stretch of imagination and the wording they used could be considered accurate. I would avoid buying anything used from them.
Response from Army Navy OutdoorsAug 1, 2026
Sorry this one didn't meet your expectations. Used surplus carries wear, and we do our best to describe condition honestly and mark items used so buyers know what they're getting. If you're ever unsure about the shape of a used piece, give us a call before you order and we'll walk you through it.

Shipped me mold infested gear
Shipped me mold infested gear, refuses a refund unless I handle it to ship it back. In fact they suggested I simply toss the mold infested gear into my washing machine, that is a huge safety redflag. Charge back issued with my bank as I wont be handling hazardous gear over such a small amount. Shout out to their terrible customer service; no empathy, no care, just "its not mold" until I offered to provide proof it was mold, then they just said to ship it all back. Once again, a terrible experience, low QC, and a horrible customer service team.
Response from Army Navy OutdoorsAug 1, 2026
Sorry for the trouble, and we do take this seriously. If gear shows up in a condition you're not happy with, send us a few photos and we'll refund you, that's our normal process and its our fault if that did not happen. We check items closely before they ship and we want to make anything like this right.

Advertised as MRE's containing entree…
Advertised as MRE's containing entree and sides, making it sound like a whole MRE. Ended up being seperate entrees and sides FROM an MRE. I paid as much for an entree as i would normally pay for a whole MRE. False advertising. Then refuse to give refund even though site specifically says refunds are available.
Response from Army Navy OutdoorsAug 1, 2026
Sorry for the mix-up. The 24-piece case is an assortment of MRE entrees and sides, entree-heavy at about 18 to 6. The pack is not 24 full meals. We do sell complete meals and single components separately too. On refunds, sealed food items are non-returnable for safety as noted, but if anything arrives damaged or not as described, send photos and we'll take care of it.
