Archway had my MS from October last…
Archway had my MS from October last year with no movement on it until April of this year. There were many unnecessary delays, phone calls, emails left unanswered. It is very expensive. It is not made clear that marketing will cost many thousands more. I had to spend $1200 for 50 books plus postage to get the book in time for the last book rally of the year, having missed opportunities in June, July and August.
Response from Archway PublishingSep 22, 2026
Robin, we recognize how disappointing it was to miss several opportunities to promote your book, and your calls and emails should have received more timely responses. For clarity, we received revised manuscripts on March 12 and April 21, and the project later paused while we awaited the information needed to continue between May and July. Each new manuscript must be reviewed as the current version before production can move forward, which affected the overall timeline. Marketing services are always optional. Authors can promote their books independently in many effective and affordable ways. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify the project history.
