Well, what can I say that others haven't said already? The course content is excellent and easy to follow, even though it is a lot to take in. For those not familiar with Apteros and Merritt Black, don't worry you're in safe hands, I have to say I have spent a bucket load of cash on other courses, training and such, but none compares to what's on offer at Apteros. Merritt is a real stand-up guy who's honest, hardworking & genuine, a rare commodity in the Trader training industry, and the reason apart from the above attributes is he's not in it to sell loads of course material although he will cos of his reputation, its because he cares about those that ask for his help. Merritt gives his time to answer questions even from non-paying students, the sign of a great teacher. His professionalism and trading knowledge are second to none. This is demonstrated in the content of the first chapter of the NADRO course which is the most important but often overlooked or even demoted to the end by other providers, and that is the unsexy topic of "Mental Framework" and the need to evolve our thinking and attitudes to become successful, "Thinking like a casino". I wholeheartedly recommend taking a look at NADRO which is a beautiful framework for identifying the risk-reward landscape & then finding ways to access those opportunities. NADRO & indeed Apteros are not just training courses or a provider they are a community of like-minded people willing to share and help each other grow.

I have gotten started with study of the course, now on Module 3 and it truly is like drinking from a fire hose as Merritt stated in Module 2. Such high-quality information and methodology to learn to flow with the markets and stop fighting it. Really just tremendously impressed. Merritt's delivery of content is sonically pleasing LOL but most importantly he gets the idea across so effectively it is really an amazing experience. Sounds crazy, but this is the first time I have ever really felt like I was actually getting more than my money's worth from a course that I bought to help me actually survive and thrive in my trading. Foundationally the course starts with focus on mental control and moves to core ideology for the system, with successive modules expounding upon the prior module to take the student on a journey of [correctly done] market profile mediated buy / sell pressure discovery. It has been very satisfying to watch price action unfold in real time as per Merritt's careful explanations and hand-drawn illustrations of formed hypothetical scenario modeling based on course content. Gosh I so wish I could have known about this course and Apteros Trading a long time ago. I could have saved my self over $200000 in losses and money spent on other sub-par courses over the last 30 years. This is no exaggeration. It looks like I will finally be able to enjoy having a solid trading methodology with foundational focus on what makes markets price action move. It is genius really. The course is not cheap but compared to my lifetime of crushing struggle and defeat, how expensive is it really? Think about that... Thanks Merritt and Ryan! This course is the real deal.

I learned about Apteros late last year (2022). In December 2022, I went through the online course and shortly after, in January 2023, I signed up for Advanced Group Mentoring. In retrospect, I was lucky to grab a spot as they all sold out for a year in advance shortly after. It was the best educational investment I have ever made. I already went through two courses with other institutions and "mentoring" with someone else, so I do have a frame of reference. Merritt is an amazing teacher and on top of that he's also just a very likeable, humble guy. It's a breath of fresh air in a super competitive ecosystem. Firstly, he does have a well defined, measurable system. You will learn it from the video course. The course is well put together and is very valuable on its own. You will learn the system step by step, with each lecture building on the previous one. There are no "simple" concepts that you can forget later once you learn the "advanced" stuff. Everything that's covered is useful. The material is very rich. I've watched each video at least 8-10 times, took very detailed notes, and each time I would find new information that I somehow missed earlier. Even later, during the mentoring programme, I would find that some things Merritt would explain in our weekly meetings were actually covered in the course, I just missed them or didn't appreciate their importance. Secondly, he has vast experience in both trading and teaching. This will be obvious to anyone who interacts with him. Sometimes I would think about a question for a week or two and once I asked it, he would answer me on the spot with a comprehensive answer, always to the point and very helpful. I've always felt like he has heard each of my questions a hundred times before. At the same time, I never felt bad for asking them, Merritt truly created an environment suitable for learning and experimentation. If he doesn't know the answer or there's no good answer, he will honestly say so. He is also very perceptive and offers helpful, constructive feedback tailored to each student. The mentoring lasts 3 months - that's enough time to understand each student's personality and offer them valuable, actionable advice they actually need. There were 5 students in the class, including myself. We quickly started discussing markets and the methodology together, learning from each other and giving each other tips. The setting was perfect for a new student like me. Initially I was wondering why it is a group endeavour, thinking that maybe it would be better if the teacher could focus on me entirely, but I was wrong. Working with other students in a small group has worked wonderfully. Guys would often ask questions I never knew I needed answers for. It was also very inspiring and motivating seeing everyone improve and develop their own style. For the record, everyone in my group has objectively improved throughout the programme. Proof is in the pudding. When the mentoring started, my PnL curve was sharply downward sloping and I had no idea what I was doing. Even though I watched the course many times and I thought I understood it, I couldn't trade it profitably. Now I not only understand the system and markets better, but I can also trade them profitably. My PnL curve for the last month of the class was upward sloping and that was in a low volatility, rotational market environment. More importantly, for the first time, I actually understood what I was doing. I still have a lot to learn, but I am confident that I can do it, the foundations are well in place at this point. There's also a community aspect. I find that Apteros community is the healthiest, most focused, and most helpful of all I have been a part of. It is obvious that a lot of thought and care went into this and there's a reason why people who have succeeded stick around. I learn new things from others everyday. Lastly, as a student and a trader, I am obviously very satisfied, but what about a customer perspective? My experience there was very smooth as well. Ryan was in touch with me from the get go and was very accommodating with the payment, which I needed to make in two instalments due to logistics. All my emails were responded to in a timely manner. The only problem I had was that the class started a week later, which I was stressed about in the beginning, having a really poor past experience with other providers. Now, in retrospect, I don't see that as a problem at all. Our class lasted a little longer too. It's what happens when things are done on a person to person basis rather than in an industrialised, quantity over quality fashion. The best part? If I pass the try out I can join the desk, making all this just a beginning of a much longer journey. Thank you, Merritt. This review is the least I can do to express my gratitude.

I cancelled my renewal 1 day before the renewal date, yet was charged anyway. The Apteros site does not provide any documentation of cancellation so I had nothing to support a dispute with my credit card company. My emails to Apteros questioning the charge were never responded to. When Apteros finally responded to my credit card company (2-3 months later) their response was I had received the service which is 100% false. ETA: In response to Apteros's comments below. My subscription was set to renew on Oct 12th. I submitted my cancellation on October 11th. I did not receive a cancellation email. My subscription was not renewed in November so clearly it was cancelled. I took no trades after October 11th / did not use the service at all. If Apteros disagrees, I would appreciate seeing the cancellation email / some system-generated information that shows I cancelled after the renewal date. ETA part 2: Apteros reached out to me as part of this review. Turns out there is a cancellation term related to timeframe I overlooked so it's my mistake. I appreciate them spending the time to investigate and trying to make things right.

To say I have been around the block when it comes to trading education who be an understatement.... I have been working on becoming a profitable trader for over 15 years. During this time I learned a lot of valuable info (and some terrible) but I just struggled to put it all together into a system that suited my personality. The beauty of Apteros (and NADRO specifically) is that it really blends a lot of methodologies together into a useable framework. You still need to put in a huge amount of work to find a niche that works for you, but the foundation is there if you are willing to grind. The highest praise I can give, is that developing my strategy under the NADRO Framework gave me the confidence to leave my comfortable corporate job and pursue trading full time. Being a part of this community is the best decision I have ever made in regards to my development as a trader.

My best educational investment of 2021. That is how I can define the Fall Intensive with Merritt. If you are a NADRO student you already know how great it is to even listen to Merritt for a couple of minutes during any of his webinars. Now, imagine watching him preparing, trading live, and answering questions for an entire week. It was simply amazing! It will for sure take my trading to another level. I really hope Apteros consider offering this at the end of Winter, Spring, and Summer! If you are not a NADRO student yet, the Fall Intensive is also an excellent starting point for you to get the feeling of how it is to trade with NADRO. Congrats to Merritt and all the Apteros team!
