Might get in trouble for posting this but any traders reading this please do not give your hard earned money to Apteros Trading. As a member since 2019 I feel I need to speak out after seeing his recent appearances on NinjaTrader Live. Merrit was dropped by SMB which he refuses to comment on and now charges $3,000 USD each for both his NADRO & Scalping course. I personally have invested in his Nadro course and AGM which was close to $7000 in total to be completely ignored & let down. With over 500+ posts is his community he not once reached out or provided any feedback let alone only posted his trades on average once every 3-4 months. I highly recommend the Ninjatrader YouTube live but tune into the OFL labs segments as they provide a ton of useful information for free similar to @y…. Also I just checked and his community is dying which is why he must be desperate for more "student's" to pay him hand over first for his dead and "thriving" desk.

Bryce…. Merritt here. I’m sorry to see this post brother really. I recall the mentoring we did together vividly. I know our work together was fruitful and you worked hard and made tangible improvements during our work together. I don’t understand the attack. Our plan here is to gather clips from the work we did together and share that with Trustpilot to clarify the record.

I made a post within the Apteros community stating that I had written reviews on Trustpilot and included a small excerpt from Page 3. As expected, this led to the cancelling of my access to the Apteros Discord channel. Before my privileges were revoked, my comments had not been deleted, at least for an hour or so while I still had access to their community. I have no idea what happened afterward. Perhaps their policies have changed, as a couple of years ago, I was censored and had posts deleted for similar inquiries. Also as expected, in response to comments to Black within the community, he diverted attention by announcing that a student had just passed his tryout and made it to his desk, using this accomplishment to claim that NADRO isn't flawed. Making it to his desk meets a minimum profit expectation with no time limit, without breaking a drawdown limit. This merely provides the prop firm some confidence that their risk capital will not be lost. It does not address the longer-term repeatability of earning nor the range of possible expectations from deploying the NADRO system over a period of months. Repeating what I stated in Part 3 of the my earlier review, “NADRO is NOT ROBUST, as stated by Black, and has several deficiencies” and that “Black needs to broaden his knowledge base beyond AMT and reconsider the notion that balance is the only certainty, which is absurd and fundamentally flawed.” These statements remain true and making it to his desk does not disprove them. Since I viewed Black’s remark about a trader making it to his desk as a deflection tactic, I made a second and final post. Stating that I have asserted some alternative views, disclosed my intent for making posts to Trustpilot, stated that NADRO remains unproven, expressed the need for continuous improvement, reasserted the need for transparency of earnings, reasserted that the notion that balance is all we know is fundamentally flawed and so is NADRO, all in the spirit of helping the community. I maintain my position, the problem with Apteros is NADRO. I have no interest in trading any capital other than my own, and cannot comment on Apteros as a prop firm other than hearing that the payouts are better elsewhere. The performance of great products is not hidden, they tend to be flaunted. Black is deflecting the issue regarding NADRO. Concrete earnings data is necessary to validate NADRO’s performance. HARD STOP.

I wish I never bought this Daytrading course for 3 grand. It's worth maybe $300 tops. you can find everything about this course for free on youtube and it's best you spend your time reading trading psychology books from Steenbarger and use this money to trade the markets. He trades 5 days live but 2 out of these 5 days he comes online and says hey guys I took this profitable trade before I started streaming blablabla so he didn't even showed them live. Without these 2 trades he mysteriously took outside of live viewing, he wouldn't be making the small profit that he showed us that week. He traded like an amateur one day, stubborn entering and losing, entering and losing like a madman until he hit his daily stop limit of the day!!! What a joke. We should all get a refund and he should remove that travesty of a course. He also promised to show broker trading statements but all we got was a screenshot from Sierracharts.

He offers a $3k scalping course, conducts live trading sessions and frequently deviates from his own trading rules. Despite his decades years of experience in futures trading, he struggles to maintain consistent profitability in his demo trading. Given these circumstances, one might question whether this is the type of outcome to expect from an individual with such experience and a high-priced training program. It seems his focus may be more on selling expensive educational content rather than consistently profiting from the market. While he is a personable individual and an good instructor, I have reservations about his overall success as a trader. Buyer beware.

Thanks for the honest opinion 'JK'. Merritt was actually profitable for the week. We're afraid you are quite mistaken about what the week-to-week looks like for a good trader. We see this a lot. People think great traders just crush every trade, every week, every month - and unfortunately this just isn't the case. Did you stick around for the end results of the week of trading for the Friday review session? Even with the high trading volume and retail rates Merritt made about +1R for the week. He made roughly +6.6R for the week gross, which the results would be closer to trading with an exchange seat. Do you realize what those results look like at the end of the year? Stellar. So to give us a 1 star review as an organization, because of your poor assumptions about what week to week consistency looks like (and by the way he was profitable gross and net over the week, to reiterate) is just kind of wrong on your part. We hope this has helped you see more truth about what 'consistent' trading looks like, and what Merritt as an imperfect discretionary trading human being does on a non-crush-it week.

Hi Robert, Thanks for taking the time to post your lazy, non-specific, non-review of Apteros. You are obviously not an actual student of ours, but we'll let this review stand to make a point. Believe it or not we certainly understand your point of view, and actually agree that MOST TIMES it's true. Apteros is quite different than your normal trader course selling company. If you really listen to what we have said for years - we are building out a prop desk, and a great way for us to 1) train traders to actually get good enough to make that desk, and 2) get more eyeballs on our firm so that people become aware of us, is to have some really high quality courses, and that is exactly what we have done. Healthy skepticism is good. Your ability to discern quality from garbage, is not so good.
