My disappointment mirrors exactly the other comments here about appreciablet.com. I stumbled across an advert on Instagram & bought two sets of birds coasters approx £18. They took £3 more. I contacted them, they apologised & refunded the £3. I was so disappointed with the coasters when they arrived. Very poor quality wood & designs, dirty & smelled burnt. They seem like a cheap imitations. Certainly not as shown in the online photos. I have sent numerous emails & annotated photos to highlight my concerns but appreciablet.com will take no responsibility for the issue saying they were checked in the warehouse. I asked to send them back as I said they were not fit for purpose (faulty) but they refused to pay the postage back to USA. They have offered me a £4 refund (& told me I could give them away! I had already said I had bought them as gifts but couldn’t even give them away!) I am still £14 out of pocket. It now transpires that the warehouse is in a different country so they probably haven’t even seen the product. I am so disappointed & feel ripped off.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS I saw these coasters on a reputable site but when I went to order some mistakenly got them from this company. The cost was £12.19. They took £15.22. I complained and asked them to cancel the order as the trust was gone. They refused saying it was too late. They’ve refunded the additional £3.04 but I’m not holding my breath for the balance or receipt of a decent product. A valuable lesson in not purchasing in haste!

Don’t buy from this company. My daughter ordered the coasters for her dad and they never arrived. They said the problem was with shipping not them. She never got a refund and wishes she had checked trust pilot first!

Same as other reviews. The quality is appalling and the coasters are marked. One of the images isn't even centred. Tried to get in touch to complain but they just said to return and I would pay for shipping. Don't buy from this shoddy bunch of cowboys. Wish I'd read the reviews. It's not even worthy of one star.

If I could give no stars I would! The goods I received were cheap imitations of what I thought I was actually buying. The quality was so poor I can't give as gifts. Trying to make contact with the company is a nightmare. You get caught up in computerised assistance with no chance of solving anything. Trading Standards and Meta need to get involved to stop them conning others with fake goods. All I want is a refund but I'm going round in circles

I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased 3 packs of bird coasters from this company. The quality is appalling but they are not interested at , heavy brown staining all over the coasters, can’t be used at home never mind give as a gift. If I could award 0 stars I would

The item I received was covered in brown staining. Customer service said this was “normal in production” Disgusted.
