Appliances of America was significantly less than all other websites I visited. With no tax and free shipping, I was very happy when I made my purchase. However, the timing didn't go as planned. I thought I would be getting my appliances in 3-4 weeks, but it turned out being 10 weeks due to high demand during the Labor Day sales. We didn't need the appliances right away, but I actually had to call to figure out when they were supposed to come. When I had a hard time reaching someone I started getting concerned, but when I finally got through to Billy he offered to extend my warranty by a year to make up for the miscommunication. If I had to do it all again, I would definitely purchase from Appliances of America.

UPDATED 8/2: Pros: * Appliance of America reps are nice on the phone * Price is outrageously cheap Cons: * Despite repeated confirmation, there was a miscommunication of when to expect appliances from when they were released to shipping. We went 2 extra weeks without appliances after our kitchen remodel was complete. * The AofA reps did not catch that the downdraft I ordered was NOT compatible with the range I ordered. This caused several hundred dollars in reworking cabinets. (Fortunately we caught the issue before granite was templated.) * Shipping company was a mess. We stayed home all Saturday waiting for the delivery and received a call at 9pm at night stating that their truck broke down. We didn’t receive the order for another 4 days. Additionally, when I called to check on the order, the phone reps were gruff and hard to understand with an extremely long wait time. In summary, the price was so cheap it was worth the hassle. If I had it to do over again, I would have asked my contractor to review the appliance order with the manufacturer directly. I also would have released my appliances MUCH earlier so it didn’t hold up finishing the kitchen by an extra two weeks.

(2/2/2016) I have not received the 5 year warranty that was part of my stove order. I have been calling and emailing since last July about getting it. I did receive the stove around 8/14/15. So far they have not responded to BBB requests. Today I am contacting the NJ Consumer Affairs to try and obtain results. (7/15/15) Today Billy of "Appliances of America" called to update me on my appliance purchase and upcoming shipping. He was very considerate and after reviewing my purchase, actually offered an additional service warranty to ease the long shipping time. I am impressed with their attention to the customer. (7/09/15) I was looking to purchase a slide-in Samsung electric range locally. Expecting July 4th to give me the best big box or other supplier deal for the range. I was disappointed in the local choices and reviewed on-line availability. "Appliances of America" showed a very good price; but I was somewhat skeptical (just my nature). After reading the reviews on-line I decided to call. Sean answered the 800 number and was very professional, his demeanor was low key and was helpful in describing the product and some options available. He made the process very easy and concluded by adding their 1 year extra warranty for free. The shipment may take up to 4 weeks which is ok with me so I cannot talk about that part of the process. If there is an issue I will certainly let the community know. I am happy with the purchase and looking forward to receiving it. Jack

These guys do not respond quickly to emails or phone calls (2 day response time), do not provide ship dates. 3 weeks later, still waiting, with no updates. Order status displays "no information available". Cancelled the credit card I gave them, cancelled order. I did get a call from the store manager. He was very apologetic, and wanted to make things right. For me, however, that ship has sailed. I deeply appreciate his sincere effort in calling, I know calls like ours are not easy, or fun. As mine seems to be the only even half negative review here, maybe you'll have better luck.
