I purchased a new iPad on the proviso that 1 year of Apple TV would be provided. Love the iPad no problems there, however Apple are blatantly refusing to honour what was promised at the point of sale and are refusing to issue me with a code to download Apple TV for 1 year as promised. Countless calls, online chats etc have resulted in continued refusal to provide Apple TV. This is fraud, but they know they hold all the cards and no amount of pleading my case to these people helps. They simply don’t care that I’ve been scammed. They have reneged on their offer of free Apple TV and I have been shut down at every turn whilst trying to convince them that they owe me this. Appalled is not a strong enough word. How on earth are these corporations allowed to get away with scamming consumers like this? UPDATED: My husband signed my phone onto family sharing to look for music or files on my phone and forgot to turn it off. This is what they’re using against me, and continue to refuse my 1 year free Apple TV as offered at point of sale. Be warned about this scam, if you share any files etc with a family member they will use this against you and will renege on this offer. If you have family sharing turned on, on any devices, turn it off immediately!! Because I argued my point I was given 3 months of Apple TV which I was forced to accept, this is not what I was sold at point of sale. The man offering this was adamant he wouldn’t budge on this offer, acting like he was doing me a favour. I remain furious about this, I have been a consumer of Apple products since 2009 but that counts for absolutely nothing, these big corporations are utterly shameful!! UPDATE: The day after I posted this review a virus appeared on my iPhone, beware!

Great experience

I bought a new apple tv and although it was pretty pricy, it was totally worth it! I have never seen anything else like it.

I’m giving apple 5 stars I want to be clear I no longer have an apple phone. I have another type phone the reason I mention this is I’m not a fan of all things apple. Apple TV is different though. I see many people complaining about lack of content but for me personally although not all content is for me what I have enjoyed is quality. Firstly the tv series trying is just adorable fun and moving loving this and season two is even better. I believe in these characters so do I with other series and I personally am glad it’s slow to bring in content because to me it’s quality content there is a main rival who I’ve just cancelled due to them constantly cancelling series and not showing their viewers respect that is that company (it’s one of the bigger rival companies) Apple TV is showing respect for its customers making quality programmes I hope they don’t race and fill in with programmes that when viewers get involved and like the show it then cancels so far I can see a number of shows getting second seasons I am watching them slowly and weekly as I am making time for good tv be it comedy films or drama their will be programmes I don’t like but the ones I do like I really enjoy thank you for respecting your viewers by not loading loads but making few but enjoyable with at least two seasons. I get Apple TV free as I bought an iPad 9There are other tablets available but I got this as a present and unlike their phones I like the iPad. When my free subscription ends I for one will be paying a monthly subscription as the money I saved on calling the rival will go to good use on this subscription. Well done Apple TV keep up quality please.

Apple TV sounded promising with a free year subscription with a new iPad Pro. There are some seriously good series and films on it such as: Home After Dark, Greyhound with Tom Hanks is eXcellent and the forthcoming Issac Asimov FOUNDATION looks good. HOWEVER, there is not a lot of content on the channel and with “new episodes” coming weekly there is a distinct lack of choice of anything to watch. There are many “Watch Next” choices but, “coming October” or some other date seems to follow. It seems like the menu is hard to negotiate because you end up going in circles.....because there is Nothing Much on the channel. I’m sticking to Netflix, Amazon Prime and several of the free channel apps. I nearly forgot, we haven’t seen any problems such as stuttering with streaming, for a long time...but Apple TV + seems to have a bit of a problem with that.
