I am deeply conflicted here....
I am deeply conflicted here, because in so many ways, my Apollo-Neuro has been an absolute life-saver, helping me cope with both my ongoing insomnia and my attention-deficit. I have been a very happy customer since I began using it in June of 2024. I have worn it every day since then. Recently I started paying attention to the "Daily Snapshot" on the App to get a sense of the quality of my sleep each night. The "Daily Snapshot" offers a graph that charts "Deep Sleep", "Restless Sleep" and "Awake" times throughout the night. I started noticing some inconsistencies - a few times the chart would say I was in "deep sleep" from 7-8am when actually I was already awake, out of bed and had showered by then. Recently, I left my Apollo-Neuro in my car overnight, accidently, where it ran down its battery fully. (I could tell by the App the battery had died). When I discovered my Apollo-Neuro out in the car the next morning, and plugged it in to recharge, it offered me a fresh "Daily Snapshot" of my sleep patterns the night before. Now I knew, without any doubt, the sleep-patterns graphed on the App were completely bogus. I sent an email to their customer support asking why the App was falsely graphing my sleep patterns every day. Someone emailed back saying that the "Apollo Neuro" is not a Sleep-Tracker and so the graph it produces of my sleep patterns every day is actually kind of a "best guess". Nowhere on the "Daily Snapshot" does it say that the seemingly accurate looking graph of my sleep pattern is nothing more than a "best guess". Personally, I struggle to trust a device that is so overtly falsifying information like that - especially when customers are paying $100 a year to have that feature!! - but I will still use my Apollo-Neuro to "Unwind" in the evening and "Focus" in the morning on the free version of the App.
Response from Apollo NeuroOct 13, 2026
Thank you for wearing Apollo every day since 2024, Carter, and for this detailed feedback — and our apologies for the delayed response. You're right that the Daily Snapshot is an estimate rather than a clinical sleep tracker, and we've shared your point about making that clearer in the app with our product team. If you'd like to talk it through, reach us at [email protected]. — The Apollo Neuro Team
