It's not the company, it's their device. The Apollo Neuro has no power off switch. The battery runs down quickly while in "standby". Every time that I NEED to use it and reach for it the battery is dead. So I plug it in and wait 2-3 hours for it to charge up fully and by then I've already tried something else and I just unplug it and put it away until the next time. Only to find the battery dead and needing a 2-3 hour charge... Repeating the whole process almost endlessly. I've actually been able to use it only a few times in the years that I've owned it. A Waste of Money to buy it and A Waste of electricity to keep endlessly needing to charge it. The app is 95% attempt to update you to pay more to buy more vibes to use on a device with a dead battery that stays mostly in a drawer - unusable.

After months of trying to get assistance from the company for a defective product to no avail, we have repeatedly asked for a return. They continue to put us off. If I could give 0 stars I would. I do not recommend purchasing a product from this company. The product would be great if it worked, but customer service is horrible. Ihave now owned 2 Apollo Neuros, and they dont last more than 2 years. For the price one would expect a longer lifespan. In January of 2025 they started a Kickstarter Pledge for their new model which was due to be delivered in the summer of 2025. They keep delaying, and delaying the new product which they sold at a discounted price of $358. I have requested a refund having now burned through 2 devices. Not interested in their new one as they are too expensive when they only last two years. They wont issue a refund and said that I have to wait until its shipped and then I can return it within 30 days. This is unacceptable! As an accountant, they can clearly issue a refund, not ship me the product, and resell it to someone else at full price. What a scam - theyve had my money for 18 months, and no product delivery date.

I am not pleased because customer service is not reacting, please contact me soon, my order number is : #an196975 so I can cancel this review and there is no need to try to get contact by other reviews seen neither chat neither e-mail gives any reaction in weeks after several attempts, almost reaching 10!

Customer desk does not react when announcing problems in guarantee period with request for refund

I liked my original Apollo Neuro, which makes this experience even more disappointing\. About one month after purchasing a refurbished replacement directly from Apollo, it overheated while charging, melted into the charger, and produced a strong electrical burning smell\. It was frightening and, in my opinion, presented a serious safety hazard\. What has frustrated me most is the lack of response\. I have repeatedly requested a call from a supervisor, but no one has contacted me\. A potential product safety issue deserves more than routine customer service\. I hope Apollo investigates this incident and improves how it responds to customers reporting serious safety concerns\. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing a refurbished device\. 10/26 Apollo Neuro did follow up with me to say they would investigate but I haven’t heard the results of an investigation. They did even send me a new Apollo Neuro. However, after about a month, the device stopped taking a charge. Even after following all their recommended steps to get it to charge it wouldn’t work. I am totally done with the company!

I placed Order #24541962011 over a week ago and, despite paying for my order, it is still sitting in the "fulfillment" stage with no tracking information or meaningful update. What has been most frustrating is the lack of communication. Instead of providing a clear explanation or timeline, I received a generic response saying orders usually ship within 2–4 business days—even though my order had already exceeded that timeframe. It felt like my concerns weren't even read. For a company that promotes premium products and customer care, the service has been far below expectations. Customers deserve honest communication, timely updates, and support that actually addresses their concerns. At this stage, I cannot recommend buying from Apollo Neuro based on my experience. I sincerely hope the company improves its customer service and communication so other customers don't have the same experience.

I received an Apollo in mid-March. It wouldn't stay connected to my phone, so I reached out to customer service. They had me try a few different things, which didn't fix the problem, so I kept contacting them to let them know I needed a replacement or refund. First, they told me I couldn't return it because it had been more than 30 days (even though I contacted them to complain that it was defective only a few days after receiving it). I emailed and called multiple times and was told multiple times they would address the problem, but didn't receive return instructions until June. Ridiculously poor customer service for a product this expensive.

This company is a joke that gives out bad information to customers! This was a terrible experience from the start. While I was looking to purchase this device, I was sent a discount code. I tried using it several times and it wasn't working. I finally contacted their customer service and was told that the code had expired over a month prior, even though I was given that code 3 days prior. I was then given a new code and was told it was for $100 off. When I went to use it, it was only $50 off and I let customer service know. She basically said "my bad" and moved on. I should have moved on from this company at this point. After purchasing the product for $400, it didn't even work properly. It wouldn't stay connected to the app, the buttons didn't work on it, it ran very hard and rough, and it needed to be turned almost all the way up to feel it. I also purchased a SmartVibes subscription to use all the features (which in my opinion is a ripoff). I received an email saying the subscription would automatically be upgraded once I created my account. This didn't happen. I contacted customer service twice and was told to check my spam folder for a subscription code. I finally sent a screenshot of the email showing it was supposed to automatically update and was then told it would take up to 2 days to "look into this". Between the incorrect discount code and the incorrect information given about the AI subscription, it shows me that they have no organization on the backend of this company. The device itself was junk for what I paid and their customer service is awful. Don't waste your money!
