The device is well-constructed, the effects have been beneficial for me within the first two weeks, and it's nice and gentle with reconditioning my fight-or-flight response. I notice the difference with my focus and sense of calm, and I'm very happy with the device! But... The app is pretty horrible. The interface on the app is nice, but the connectivity is trash. It is really irritating to have an effective piece of tech that I paid good money for, only for the app to have A LOT of trouble connecting to the Apollo, rendering it almost useless except for the last pulse that you selected. If the app was sorted out to allow for proper and stable connection to the device, this would be a 5-star review. Apollo, if you see this, please fix the connection issues. This jeopardizes the entire effectiveness of the product and really damages the integrity of both the device and the company. Thanks for reading.

Technology is great. The vibrations work. However, Charging is aterrible. My Apollo won’t charge and I’ve done all the trouble shooting. Updated the app. Rebooted the device. There is CLEARLY a short somewhere and I’ve only had it a month and only used the Apollo charger exce Once to see if I could get another charger to work. I can’t seem to get a good contact at customer service and I think they should fix this issue and give me a device that charges. Too expensive to have this poor execution.

I’m receiving emails to reserve the 2.0 when they never even resolved the glitches of the 1.0. I’m not impressed at all and do not recommend.

This product wasn't for me and I took advantage of their much-advertised 30-day return guarantee. The company delays as much as possible. It took 9 days for me to get an emailed return label, with a lot of prompting and reminding from me. I ultimately threatened to submit a dispute with my credit card company, and the email label showed up within a few minutes after that. So beware - if you want to return it, you have to work at it.

when the device is working, it's great. however lately i've been having a ton of issues over a span of a few weeks and have been bounced around to 4 different customer service reps(all very polite and seemingly knowledgeable) but everyone had a different reason as to why i was experiencing issues and that i was not the only one with issues. so it makes me feel that the kinks have not all been ironed out(??!!)

I was really excited for this product. It's way too expensive for the low quality of the build. it is quite bulky on the wrist and a hassle to switch back and forth to clip. By the time I switched back and forth multiple times I found I didn't even want to use it as I didn't really find it was affecting me and I felt like I wasted my money. I think the concept is good . the reality is not so good

So here is my honest review of the product after using it for a little while: It doesn’t feel like the design aesthetics and materials used reflect the high price point. I think the price you pay is mainly covering their fixed costs I.e. research. I do use the device regularly and enjoy it, I have faith in the science and feel it provides me some benefit though there are not really many objective ways to measure it, my HRV according to Apple has remained around the same ballpark figure. The benefits are subtle, I do plan to keep using it, at the very least I enjoy the sensation. This is something I would only recommend you buy after you have invested elsewhere starting with high quality food, gym membership, a good tracker/smartwatch, a muse headband, then either this or on of the many other wearables out there. One major gripe I have with the company is that instead of adding extra value to the product with new features on the app, they lock it behind a paywall of £99 per year. Isn’t £320 (£265 on Black Friday) enough for you? It just feels a bit greedy. Yes other wearables also have premium content, like muse. But there is enough content for the main function of the device that its price point is well justified. I think Apollo’s price point is poorly justified, it certainly isn’t a panacea for your various ailments and the mood lifting benefits are subtle. This content should be made available for free. And even worse there is no free trial? Not everyone has that kind of money to burn. If they made those features free I’d probably give it a 3/4 borderline out of 5 stars.
