Challenging to ever get a claim approved!
I have a warranty of a new house we moved into. The dryer was listed as working fine on the inspection and after using it, I could tell the main bearing was not going to last much longer. I started a claim and it was denied because I said there was some noise on our first use of that dryer. They said it was pre-existing and not covered. Make sure you lie to them and tell them everything was fine for awhile because they will not do anything to help you unless the repair falls into the perfect window of not pre-existing, not cosmetic, not to any general components within that device that won't be covered. APHW has themselves well positioned to be able deny most claims.

Hello Mark, We understand that unexpected repairs can be frustrating. Your home warranty provides assistance for covered breakdowns, subject to the contract’s terms and conditions. As outlined in the contract, systems, components, or parts experiencing a breakdown as of the contract start date are not covered. Based on the information provided, the dryer issue falls within this exclusion. For more information or to discuss any questions about your claim, visit aphw.com or contact the Customer Service Team at 800-648-5006, they are available 24/7/365.
