I was very disappointed. Leon which is not his real name with kevin, again not his real name, and Ali. I spent more than 20k in a POS system and they only give me a front end that can be edited. unfortunately, I can sue them because they are not in North america. Please be careful out there with Apex. this is not a real company.

More to the story.
I am completing this review after the company replied to my last review claiming my asking for a refund seemed more like a threat. After utilizing this company for a website build and later an app build over approximately a 3 year period of working with the company I parted ways as the website and apps were not functional. After a few discussions with them I realized that my monetary losses were much greater than the services they provided so I hired another company to rebuild and host my site and apps. I did not contact them anymore nor communicate with them. Approximately 9 months to a year later I received a phone call from “Abraham”. Abraham asked me about the services and why I discontinued them. I told Abraham about my experience with the company and my dissatisfaction with the website and apps. Abraham was concerned and told me “We have a reputation to uphold” and would like to make this right. I had not completed a review of the company since parting ways. Abraham asked what they could do to make it right. I told him that they could not make it right as I had to hire another company to rebuild the website and the apps. I told him that the only way they could make it right was to give me a refund. Abraham told me that he might be able to get me a credit to use toward more services. I declined and told him I was not interested in more of their services. Abraham asked me to give him a few weeks and he wanted to see what he could do. I never heard from Abraham after two weeks and he failed to be available by phone, text or email. I then completed the review. Apex Web Studios responded to the 1 star review indicating I threatened them. I never threatened them. I did not even contact them. Abraham with Apex Web Studios contacted me hoping to clean up their mess. I fully anticipate a rebuttal to this review making me the villain. If you cannot handle the truth Apex Web Studios don’t ask. Remember you contacted me not the other way around.

Would not recommend.
I hired Apex Web Studios to build my word press web site and was interested also in having a mobile app designed. I worked with Apex Web Studios for approximately 3 years. They built my website and provided hosting. In 3 years I paid approximately $10k for the website build, hosting and later to build my mobile app. To make a very long frustrating story short my website did not function correctly and the app I had built was never fully functional. My website and app were developed with hopes of having companies advertise on my site. Companies were interested in advertising but could not complete the signup process through the mobile app. I am not even sure how my app was approved in the App Store and the Google Play because it did not fully function. This company was frustrating to try to communicate with. Their employees (Michael) argued with me frequently and made conversations hard to get a word in edgewise. His superiors thought it was funny the way Michael treated me. I finally severed ties with this company. They sent me the website files. I had to hire another company to host my site. The website was not functioning nor was it complete after the transfer. I am now back to square one and required to spend another 10k to get the website and app rebuilt. This company also required purchasing hosting for a 3 year period cash up front. They had no monthly purchase or servicing agreements like most. I would not recommend this company to anyone. After 10k invested my roi was zero.

Hi Brian,
We’d like to clarify the timeline and facts for anyone reading this review. The website was delivered in 2023, and the mobile app was fully developed and published on both the App Store and Google Play on April 25, 2025, which you approved via email. At the time of delivery, both the website and app were fully functional, and your approval confirmed that everything was working correctly.
Later, when you asked to transfer the website and app to a new hosting provider in July 2025, we promptly sent all necessary files over email. Unfortunately, the issues you’ve experienced after that came from the third-party company you hired, who were inexperienced with deploying apps. To be clear, only a fully functioning app can be published on the App Store and Play Store, which confirms the work we delivered was complete and operational.
We understand the frustration of dealing with deployment issues and additional costs, but Apex Web Studios is not responsible for problems caused by another company after delivery. The work was completed, approved, and fully functional when handed over, and the request for a refund after the fact feels more like a threat than a resolution discussion.
We always aim to provide excellent service and quality work, and we stand by the work we delivered. We hope this provides clarity for anyone reading this review.

I've reached out to them several times and still no logo. when they finally responded it was excuse after excuse. I've request for a refund, and they will not return my money. i will not recommend this company to anyone

To all the people who are interested in both sides of the story,
We came in contact with Mr. Guru in November, they had highly technical requirements but unfortunately did not have the budget to support those requirements. As we do for all of our clients we tried to accommodate the requirements within their desired budget but we were very clear that the hosting and maintenance charges are not included in this cost and this was mentioned clearly in the proposal we sent them. They agreed to the proposal and requested that they will only pay half the amount upfront and the remainder once we have successfully established their product API connection and completed all functionalities. Once again, we agreed since we were promised a long term relationship by the client.
On 15th December the project manager Rohit(mentioned in the review) informed Mr. Jashua Swack(the person who is posting the review) that all the functionalities have been completed and we would only require a plugin to establish the API connection. The cost of the plugin was $65(One-Time) which was to be purchased directly from the platform which offered the plugin. Rohit tried to ensure the client if the plugin doesn't perform according to the expectation of the client the company will be happy to refund the amount of the plugin. Upon hearing this not only did Mr. Joshua Swack started shouting that the company was trying to upsell him he went on to say that since Rohit is Indian he is incapable of handling this project and he speaks over you and down on you. Rohit is one of our best project managers and none of the clients have ever had the same concern with him. Instead of arguing on this matter, the company believed that it was more important to do the job, therefore Steve Turner was assigned to the project by the company so that the client would not have any issues.
Fast Forward to Yesterday, the project was fully completed by Apex Web Studios according to the requirements of the client. Since the client had more than 7000+ products we requested them to share their server with us since we cannot upload all the products on our staging server. The client then started yelling and shouting again that you guys are trying to upsell us, even though it was clearly mentioned in the pre-sale call and the proposal shared with them in November that hosting and maintenance charges would be separate (if you want those service from Apex) otherwise the client was free to choose their own server. The client then insisted on speaking to Rohit again, when Rohit explained everything to them, they had no answer and just kept saying that you are going back on your words. Even though we have the initial call recording and proposal in which everything is mentioned. When we mentioned this repeatedly, they Hung up the call and posted this review.
Conclusion:
Defaming Rohit even after he did not do anything and he was removed from the project just to make the client comfortable is completely wrong. Saying that we went over the proposal when the 2 guys Mr. Guru and Joshua Swack from Forever Furniture are the ones who are going over the Proposal. Classic example of people defaming a company when they are the ones who are wrong!
WE HAVE CALL RECORDINGS, DOCUMENTS & EMAILS OF EVERYTHING MENTIONED ABOVE!
