Hands-down spammiest experience ever
There is no easy way to delete your profile from ApartmentList.com, which is the first red flag, but by the time I discovered this it was too late. I keep receiving all sorts of calls and emails from apartments in which I have zero interest, even per my ApartmentList profile. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a class-action lawsuit pending.

This is a scam….trickery used to get a good rating!
This is a scam. They do trick you into giving a 4.5 star even before I used their site. Total waste of time. Just when I clicked the rating was at 4.5 but I never selected anything.

Horrific
Horrific! Email tracking/spamming is horrific! I repeatedly attempted over time to UNSUBSCRIBE from email but they are relentless in continuing to spam me. So I tried to delete my account but there is NO place to do so. I finally had to google search for help and had to go through multiple backdoor steps before I could get any response from this outfit.

Horrendous
Horrendous! Gave my email address, didn’t realise what for. I receive 40+ emails a day, unsubscribe doesn’t work, no where to delete my account, no where to contact anyone. Biggest scam ever. Disgraceful.

The worst
The worst. Completely inaccurate nonsense. Apartment companies say they have never put these "deals" on.

Hi Yol, We ask all of our renters to complete a quiz prior to matching them with properties so that we can provide the most thoughtful recommendations possible. We know it can be a bigger lift up front, but we believe it helps take a lot of the searching and scrolling out of the process! Entered my information to see about moving to an apartment closer to work. The next day at work I was spammed with e-mails and phone calls from these places I didn't even interact with. Horrible modern day marketing scam.

Won't let you unsubscribe; emails are 5 a day!
Company replied Feb 1, 2022, NINE MONTHS after I left this feedback: Will not let you unsubscribe from their avalanche of five-a-day emails. Forces you to sign in to your account, but won't recognize your password, and when you try to reset, says your email doesn't exist! I sorely regret contacting this company. Sent screenshots to them, including inbox with their emails addressed to the address they say doesn't exist.
