This app is a bunch of scammers!
If you give apartment list your information they will scam you all day every day. I get about 5-6 scam calls per day ever since I created an account. The worst app ever!!!

Hi Michelle, Thank you for taking the time to submit this. Whenever we discover that you're a great match for a specific property, we ask if you would like to send your info to that community. If you click "ok thanks", we send your contact information, but if you click "no thanks" - we don’t notify the community. I'll pass your feedback along to our product team to ensure the description is more clear going forward! And if you encountered anything that you felt was a scam that you would like to report to us, please don't hesitate to reach out to [email protected]. Best, Olivia

Garbage
Garbage! 🗑 so many scammers on this website! Not only does it not give accurate information, I had the scam pages reported and they said they will take action immediately. Week has passed and the listing are still there. Smh. Zero stars!

Hi Simplicity, I'm sorry you had this experience with us. We do take fraudulent listings very seriously here at Apartment List, and I'm so sorry it took a week to get the listing suppressed last time. We have recently reorganized teams and processes to address just that, and ensure that all renters are getting the support they need. I personally am looking into how we can not only be more responsive to scams, but also find them proactively so no one else experiences what you did. My sincerest apologies that we weren't able to do that for you. If you have any other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact [email protected]. Warmly, Olivia

I have received two "too good to be true" listings from this place. When I research on my own both so-called apartments were actually condos being sold by legitimate realtors. I contacted the first one through ApartmentList.com's message app and receive an incomprehensible response making me think the person I messaged was not even an English speaker. Stay away as this appears to be a scam probably from outside of the United States.

Hi Memewalker, I'm sorry to hear you encountered scam listings on our site. We partner directly with the majority of the properties we have listed on our platform to prevent this. That said, we do partner with some data providers for smaller units across the country. While we do perform basic data validation for these properties, we rely on those partners to verify the credibility of their listings. We appreciate your feedback and if you do use our site again and encounter any issues, don't hesitate to reach out to [email protected]. Warmly, Olivia

Requesting reviews and 5 stars before providing search results, that's the only reason they get good reviews, because we need the results!!! Terrible...

This site is just a waste of time and energy. They ask all this information and deliver no results. What is the purpose of the site. Such a disappointment.

This app/website is a scam!!
This app/website is a scam. Every place that I have looked at has wildly inaccurate information and most rental companies I have been in contact with from the app are all scams that are trying to get your SSN, even one of the companies tried getting me to send them a copy of my SSC.
