Hi Tibs, Thank you so much for this feedback. I understand you’ve received some listings that are outside of your preferred price. Why? At Apartment List, we like to give you options. So we’ve created different categories of matches, some of which flex on budget or location in order to provide more options for you. If you find that some properties you’re matched with are too far away from your desired location or not the right price, you can skip those categories entirely or just click the “thumbs down” button on those listings. They’ll be moved to your “not for me” category. I understand this can be frustrating, and hear you that it gives a bad impression of our product and intentions. This is why we partner directly with the majority of the properties we have listed on our platform. That said, we do partner with data providers for smaller units across the country. While we do perform basic data validation for these properties, we rely on those partners to verify the credibility of their listings. Hi Ms. Blossom, We're so sorry to hear about this situation and appreciate you letting us know. We take fraudulent listings very seriously here at Apartment List, and I'm so sorry it took us 6 months to get back to you last time. We have recently reorganized teams and processes to address just that, and ensure that all renters are getting the support they need. I personally am looking into how we can not only be more responsive to scams, but also find them proactively so no one else experiences what you did.
