I purchased the Frida bike last week, having been told that it was in stock. It has still not been sent. A/O bikes tells me that it will be shipped when FedEx gets around to picking it up. Who knows when that will be. Apparently nobody, There doesn't seem to be anyone at A/O that is interested.

Although I made my purchase in July, I only recently canceled my order. Correct, I never received my bike. The original delivery date was October. At the end of September I was notified that the delivery date was pushed to December. Just before Thanksgiving I received notice the new date was January. During this time I received multiple advertising notices for other models from their sister company Sixthzero. After waiting for over 5 months, I finally canceled my order. I lost confidence that I would ever receive my bike. There was never any offer of compensation for the long wait, no discount, no added accessories, just "sorry" you can cancel or wait. Has anyone received a bike from this company? Things did get scrambled as a result of COVID and I understand that piece. Note I ordered in July, months after the World was hit with shutdown, etc. I would caution anyone who wants one of the high end bikes, you may never actually receive it.

I ordered two bikes from A/O as birthday gifts for my girlfriend and her best friend. That was in July, 2020. I received exactly zero updates on the order for my girlfriend, which I was originally told would be delivered in August, 2020. I called about the bike in September when it had not arrived only to be told shipment would be delayed until December. No email, no phone call. Nothing. As for the other bike, which was also delayed, although I was not informed about the original delay to September (and then October), I did receive an email saying the October date would be delayed to December and then another saying it was delayed until January. This week, the last week of December, I called to check on both bikes after both women's children got bikes for Christmas. It was only then that I found out that shipment was delayed again until March. No email. No phone call. No apology. In fact, after being on hold for 30m to speak to an operator mid-day, the 1st operator I got was using a clearly deficient headset/phone and hung up on me. If I were burning in Hell and the only certain means of escaping was riding an A/O bike, I would burn in hell (it would probably freeze over before delivery anyway).

We were very disappointed with our experience trying to buy the Frieda bike from A/O. The bike was pre-ordered on 07/28 with a ship date of 10/06. On 10/08 I had still received no update on my order so I reached out to the company and was told that my bike was now set to ship on 12/14. Why I had to ask for the information and an update wasn’t provided previously is a mystery. Strangely, if you go on the website and pre-order the same bike today, it has a ship date of 12/12, 2 days sooner! I spoke with 2 different people at A/O who couldn’t explain to me why a bike bought 3 months prior would ship out later than a bike purchased today. I was told I would get a call back from the order department and that never happened. The information provided is unreliable and I no longer feel comfortable doing business with this company. At least their order cancellation process was quick and seamless. I have ordered a bike from another company and it’ll be here Tuesday.

I wanted to love this company so much, but my experience was probably one of the worst purchasing experiences I’ve had in awhile. 1) I called for 2 weeks with sizing questions as I’m very short. No answer! 2) it’s illegal to charge for an item months in advance (seriously look it up) 3) I received an email from another company saying my bike was now back ordered while on preorder. Despite receiving a shipping notification from Fed EX saying it was shipped , the day before. I contacted your company, they didn’t see that my bike was shipped and said they didn’t know what was going on. 4) Fed EX says my bike has been delivered (I was outside all day, no bike) I email your company, they STILL have no idea what’s going on. Two days later I see my bike at my door. While I understand that number 4 was a fed ex issue, your company should still have tracking on its items. 5) Seat to bar is uncomfortable (which was the few questions I wanted to ask when I called) this bike is the incorrect size for me and I’m 5 1- within your recommendation for the bike. So, now I have to use this bike as my only method to work until the Audrey is back in stock in November. Through all of this, each time I emailed, I received a response from another company telling me they are so busy it will take 2 weeks to get a response..... I HOPE this experience was due to all the covid restrictions at the time, and it goes well this time.

I was sent a bike with a bent crank and the chain slips off every time i try to ride. I haven’t heard back from the claims department about my damage ticket.

I ordered from this company and because of COVID the bike was delayed for two months. I sent an email today (I had to reach out) and it’s another two months. So Summer will be over before I get to ride the bike with my one year old. I’m pregnant with a second baby and it was crucial to ride now because I won’t be able to later.
