if i could give this no stars, i would. I tried canceling my membership for many months as I was sick and not able to make it in and family members were sick that I had to care for. They make it extremely difficult to cancel your membership. You can only do it during business hours, which aren’t even real business hours. And often times there wasn’t even anyone there during the business hours that they said that they would have someone there. It has been extremely frustrating to be a member of this gym having no compassion for my situation.

Vreselijk! Ik wacht al maanden op een terugbetaling en word gewoon aan het lijntje gehouden. Telkens ik contact opneem, krijg ik het ene smoesje na het andere te horen… ons betalingssysteem is geblokkeerd, we wisten uw naam niet meer, betalingen gebeuren slechts 1 X per 2 weken, we zullen u wel terugbellen enz. Dit ruikt naar oplichterij!

This place is just after your money. I’m surprised it’s not as hated as planet fitness because the membership agreement is the same. It will cost you an arm and a leg to get out of the membership. They’d rather raffle off kayaks than use the money too fix their machines. There’s been duct tape holding machines together for months and they just now fixed the one and only stair climber, which was out of service for months. You can tell machines are cheap and off-balance. Sometimes when you try to go and you swipe your fob at the door and it just won’t unlock and youre just SOL for the day. But they won’t compensate you any money for it. They charge “club enhancement fees” on top of your membership charge yet the club has not been enhanced since it opened. Where the f is all our money going? Can’t be towards paper towels because there’s never paper towels available to wipe off machines. Good luck speaking to representatives on the phone because they’re all hard to understand. The machines are basic, and there’s not a lot of room for free weights or activity with the mats because the trainers like to take up all the room with training sessions. The bathrooms are always disgusting. There’s never staff there when staff hours are supposed to be, I don’t know why they leave early every day but they do which is less time for the tanning beds to be available. The tanning beds are garbage anyway. The cheapest type of tanning beds you can get, they just bought them just to add that to their membership and make it sound like you’re getting a deal. Might as well go to the Y and have a membership to Zoom Tan, much better quality there. You can cancel your membership anytime through the Y but you have to pay a fee to leave anytime fitness and they say there’s a 30 day wait for it to be officially canceled while they charge you for those 30 days on top of the cancellation fee. When this gym first opened in my town, everyone switched from the Y. A bunch of people, my friends and I are all headed back to the Y now. DO NOT GET STUCK W THIS GYM. Any other option is the better option, I promise.

Don’t go there they lock you in a contract and they not let you go ridiculous!

Regular female member takes possession of training equipment even though husband is home with sick child waiting for her. Yet she has one more routine to complete texting back while on her back next to bench. Manager did not perform adequate investigation into affair and biased accused me of utilizing profanity and being aggressive. Yes I just completed 4 sets of weight training and wanted to leave home. I am retired 63 veteran and I really have a short fuse which did not ignite as per false witnesses.

I have covered two classes at Anytime Fitness Hither Green on 04th August, and am still awaiting payment. I have chased them over 20 emails chasing payment and yet, they are unable to pay me. Extremely frustrating as a professional. I strongly recommend against covering classes here.

The customer service was terrible! the manager laughed at me and never addressed my concern. They have no concern for their customers and don't believe the customer is right. The manager spent half the time not listening and being ignorant. Then when I wanted to cancel my membership, she refused to cancel it at no charge for all the inconvenience they caused. She also did not provide me with a valid corporate number but just there 3rd party billing company who also could not help me. She wanted to spiteful and could not handle herself. Then she called the rest of the staff in to intimidate me. Never again will they see a dime from me and i rather drive a little to planet fitness and what I am saving in their membership can go towards gas going to a gym with GOOD customer service. Also, one where you can actually get a hold of a staff available. Also, how they call themselves anytime fitness but can only reach someone during normal business hours had to take off from work to address my concern and it was never resolved. So I lost money to deal with incompetence. I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone especially since their customer service sucks, their is no chain of command and they are okay with leaving their customer with unresolved issues. I rather have spend my money on good customer service and a resolution, then a 24 7 gym with a staff with poor attitudes.
