Working out is an important part of how I relax and de-stress after a long day at work. However, I was recently informed of a new no-phone policy, which I find both frustrating and unnecessary. In today’s world, phones are commonly used during workouts — whether for music, tracking progress, personal safety, or staying connected. The way this policy was communicated and enforced by staff was not only disruptive but added stress to what should be a positive and personal time. In addition, I believe attention would be better directed toward improving the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. There have been ongoing issues that deserve more focus, and addressing them would significantly enhance the experience for all members. I hope you’ll consider more flexible and balanced policies that reflect the current times and member needs. I also encourage stronger emphasis on maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
