I think they are a scam
I think they are a scam. I paid 2.90 plus tax for a one time use sms number. The number never received the text it was intended to be used for and so I waited a couple hours to try again only to see that the number has timed out and my only option is to purchase another number.

Fake
All negative comments are right. Positive comments are written by the company itself. It is a fake site. I have bought for a virtual phone number, but never got a number. When I asked to refund my money, they did not respond.

Its not a scam
Its not a scam, the "Service Activation" works like 1 time in 10 but you get an automatic refund every time it doesn't work
Response from AnonymSMS - Receive SMS OnlineDec 10, 2025
Thank you for sharing your experience! We appreciate you pointing out how our automatic refund system works. If a service activation doesn’t go through, the credit is instantly returned, so you never lose anything. In most cases, activations work on the very first try, but we’re always improving our routing to make the process even more reliable. If you ever need assistance or have any suggestions, we’re always here to help!
