This review is for Annie’s attic Holiday Crochet Pattern kit clubs. Strongly advise against joining the Holiday crochet pattern club. Crochet club kits are bait and switch, they show you the picture of what you will be making then send yarn and pattern for something else entirely. No explanation and no response to emails either.
This is a company with some pretty bad issues.
Giving them 2 stars due to their stand alone virtual patterns and the creative studio. No issues with those, just wish they were honest with their clubs.

Cannot recommend
Wow, I thought I had it bad till I read some of these other reviews.
Pros:
I like the afghan.
The videos are frequently helpful.
Cons:
Way overpriced. Way way way overpriced, $27.xx for 3 little skeins of acrylic yarn and a leaflet and online video. No option to buy it all at once and save on the $7 per kit shipping.
They migrated websites this summer. Sent me a kit without charging it, then started sending invoices for that kit, but no option to pay online - phone or mail only. I didn't do that, and they finally stopped hassling me.
I had to email to get access to a couple videos, and had to start a complicated stitch without being able to view the video for it in time.
The straw that's broken the camel's back and made me write this review is they started sending - and billing - the shipments just 2 or 3 weeks apart. 3 in a row. I had requested to skip a monthly shipment, and instead they sent one after just 2 weeks! I was emailing customer service about it today, and they basically have no help to offer and seem to be unaware of the problem.

Customer Service Non-Existent
Customer Service Non-Existent - I am on my 2nd kit club. The first one I did have some delivery issues, but customer service responded quickly and took care of it. With my most recent one, I received 4 of the 10 kits with the last one being 4 months ago. I have reached out multiple times to try to get my remaining kits with zero response. Basically, I spent way too much for 4 packages of yarn! Will be going to BBB to attempt to resolve and hopefully get a refund for those I have received.

Great kits, but system transition is an epic fail
I did a full kit of an Afghan that was really fun, and the finished product was beautiful. The instructions were clear, and the shipments came every two weeks as promised. However, I started a new blanket kit in April. I'm supposed to get a shipment every two weeks. I got the first one, but then they transitioned to their new Anniesattic.com system. It absolutely blows me away that now 3 months later, the subscription hasn't started back up again. I've only received the canned response to any inquiries. It's a shame, because it's obvious that a great deal of work by some talented people have gone in to making these kits, but whatever program management, or lack thereof, went into this transition is probably the worst I've ever seen. The blanket that I'm doing is Christmas themed. Had the original schedule been kept, I would have had it done in time for the holidays. Now I fear that when they ever do finally get it going again, it won't be in time for me to enjoy it this holiday season. I also timed it so that I would have something to do while recuperating from knee replacement surgeries. My plan was to save up the kits to work while I was recuperating. I've already had one knee replaced 7 weeks ago, and yet I've only had that one kit to work and it's been sitting in a bag for weeks awaiting the next shipment. Please, AA! You can do better!

Old Annies was great
Old Annies was great. New platform and online only customer service is abysmal, absolutely abysmal. I have done several clubs and loved them. I now have two and the change has resulted in months of delays only to get 6 kits in 34 days. $$$ and one of them they sent the whole instruction leaflet as an 8/5X11 sheet of paper. 6 pages on one sheet of thin, cheap copy paper. Unbelievable. Kits no longer have enough yarn in them and just about every kit comes with a revision PDF. WHO IS PROOFING THESE? GET IT RIGHT. Until then, I can't recommend them anymore.

Poor customer experience
In the past I have used their patterns and afghan kits and thought they were well written. Recently I have ordered their kits for amigurumi. The kits do not contain enough materials to complete. Since migrating to a new platform customer service is non-existent. There is no phone number to call and after 3 online requests, I got an email that assumed my gauge was off without even asking me my measurements. So now, I have a half finished project which I paid for and am unable to complete. I will keep the pattern and use my own materials but this represents a weeks worth of work that has been wasted as I will need to start over from scratch again using my own materials. They have nice patterns but very poor customer service. They also cost more than competitors.

Due to the website migration
Due to the website migration, I have not received the last kit to complete my crochet project. And I am not the only one. I submitted a request for customer service and have not received anything. My final kit is over two weeks late with no estimated shipping date given.

I used to love Annie’s initially
I used to love Annie’s initially. I have had three kit clubs. Now, I am in the middle of two kit club projects, and with the new platform migration they have had significant delays in shipping (over a month now - missing 2 kits for each project) and missing information in member accounts. Their customer service has moved to online access (an email form) and it takes forever to get an answer (if one ever comes). I don’t think I’ll be ordering again. Disappointed
