They ask for patience on their web site and I gave it to them - but then they sent me the wrong kit after 2 mos of no kits. I emailed and waited days for a response. No response, so I tried to cancel subscription. I got errors on the web page trying to do that. I emailed again and this time I was very angry and I reiterated that I would not pay for random kits. I tried again that night and was able to cancel the subscription. I sent another email asking for a refund of the random kit sent to me. That night at midnight I received my first response from Kathy in customer service. She responded to the email rant I wrote when I got errors trying to cancel- she responded with “You canceled this subscription at 5pm.” That was it. I have sent several more emails requesting a refund- but it has been days and no more responses. So I know they are looking at the emails - just choosing not to do anything about them. I loved the product and have been a loyal customer for 3 years. But I will never purchase another item from this company. I have been contacting friends who I recommend this company to and let them know to stay far away from Annies Attic

Annie’s recently went through a website change and in the process I was billed 3x for the month of June. I cancelled service, emailed customer service- it was never made right. Thinking it was cancelled because it showed service cancelled on my dashboard, I was surprised to see a charge for a crochet kit coming in July! For a pattern sent in June! And the kit arrives in a couple days! So now my dashboard has 2 cancelled subscriptions and I’m down 30 more dollars because they can’t get their act together!

This is my 4th kit with annies. I have bit received the last 3 mailings. I have called in and paid in advance. I just got another bull. Still no mailings of yarn and on-going patterns. I'm making this,as a donation and can't finish it. The number I connected on was happy to take payments, not available to help with marerials. I've sent many emails as well. I'm behind 3 mailings

Just like everyone else, I have a blanket that is halfway complete that I’ve spent $180 on so far, and worked hours upon hours on. The company has not sent a shipment since the “new” system or company started. I’ve sent emails since March, and no one will ever write or call me back. However, I get daily text messages asking to buy their new kits. I’m done. I will not use their company again.

I started their Afghan block of the month subscription in late December and consistently received monthly kits through March. It is now late June and I have not received any kits during their website migration and my online materials for the kit do not exist in my account on the new website/there is no history of me ever being subscribed. I emailed customer service and received a boilerplate response that they are going through a website migration and it's taking longer than usual. This was not communicated to customers unless you took the initiative to reach out to them. The yarn is great and the kit instructions are easy to follow but it shouldn't take 3+ months with absolutely no communication to your customers to migrate your data to a new website/this data migration should've been properly tested before moving real customer subscription information over. I just want to receive my remaining kits and then I'm done with this company.

Do not order from this company. I ordered a 12 month subscription but since they “upgraded” their website I’m left with 3 of the 4 kits and only 2 of the 4 lessons. I have a project that is 2 of 12 kits completed and I’m totally unable to reach someone through customer service. The one time I actually got someone on the phone, they basically said I needed to wait for the updates. I can’t even cancel it because when I log in to my account it says I don’t have any orders. I’m going to file a claim with my credit card company. Apparently the system upgrade hasn’t affected their billing system. Imagine that.

Having worked in tech, I'm all for giving grace with the website transition. Things go wrong and it does take time to fix those things. But the last shipment I received was on March 29, over 2½ months ago. If they had communicated proactively about the challenges they were experiencing with a timeline, I'd be much more forgiving. But instead, the only note they have is on their digital bookshelf and their Contact Us page, where they ask for patience while they work through challenges and reassure customers that progress is being made. I'd say that over 2½ months without communication, even after I submitted a Contact Us note about the issue, is well beyond patience and does not inspire much trust in their progress or their business.
