Love the experience

This was a fantastic song-writing workshop. Andrea & her team offered lots of great content AND facilitated some amazing writing from the talented but far-flung members of the class. I was the oldest rookie in there, for sure, and I came away feeling encouraged and excited to continue with this work.

Andrea Stolpe's songwriting retreat was everything that I hoped it to be and more! I had the chance to collaborate with a diverse group of musicians and get top teir detailed critique on my original music. I learned numerous songwriting tips, techniques, and activities that I will use for the rest of my life. It has made me better collaborater, songwriter, and person, as well as infused me with a newfound motivation to excell in my songwriting journey. I am grateful for this opporunity and excited to take part in all future events that Andrea Stolpe hosts. Thank you!

This retreat exceeded my expectations. It was a deep and meditative dive into the art of songwriting delivered with such clarity and sincerity by a wonderful instructor and crew. Lyric writing, melody and groove, and practical career advice were among the topics covered. It was eye-opening, reaffirming and transformative. The co-writing sessions were challenging and amazing in demonstrating what 3 songwriters left in a virtual room for a few hours can actually accomplish--a lot! I would recommend this to anyone who is serious about developing their songwriting skills and who may want to collaborate with other writers.

I had a great time at Andrea Stolpe's virtual retreat. I have always approached songwriting from a raw place, and often times felt stuck when I wasn't struck with inspiration. Andrea and her team gave me a lot of resources to fall back on when I am in those "stuck" places, and they broke down and clearly defined the ingredients that go into a great song. I feel more informed to create a viable song, but I also feel like I received feedback that helped me feel confident in my abilities as a song writer. It was the perfect mix of useful tools, and inspiration to expand upon my existing style and voice. I highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to deepen their understanding, or anyone who feels stuck a lot, like me.

Andrea has fantastic clarity and focus in how she teaches this simple and complex craft and art form. Very enlightening. Wish I'd learned all this a long time ago!
