Andrea pulled me out of my years-long Creative Block!
To think, I almost didn't make Andrea Stolpe's retreat due to college class conflicts; luckily, I bit the bullet for what truly resulted in a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I met a roomful of absurdly talented musicians and artists, got the experience to co-write original songs with them, and best of all, was challenged to dig deep, find my confidence, and reunite with a long-lost passion I haven't felt in years. I will forever be grateful and thankful to Andrea Stolpe and Madison Young for organizing this unique safe space for artists from all walks of life to help each other unlock new levels of artistry! Thank you!

Derrick, you were a light to everyone at the retreat. Creative blocks are so challenging, and yet so common, and I'm glad to have walked through that experience with you as it was a great learning journey for all of us. The confidence you found - it's never gone - only hides for periods of time. Remember that creative blocks are often an indication that we've grown. What used to satisfy us no longer does. A Challenging and Rewarding Experience
I went into the retreat with some trepidation as I had never collaborated before in my songwriting. To be honest, it was very difficult at first and never got easy, but it was very rewarding. Andrea, Luke & Madison were well-organized and offered plenty ideas and tools which allowed me to gain a different perspective. Andrea and Luke were always encouraging in their critiques but also provided valuable constructive comments.

I can say that it does indeed get easier with practice, though in my case, the excitement/nervousness sometimes never completely fades away. Experience of a lifetime
Andrea is a wonderful teacher and such a genuine person. I left her retreat feeling inspired and empowered, and connected with some incredible writers as well! Definitely a worthwhile experience for writers of any level to expand their skills and build their confidence

Expectations Exceeded
I wasn't sure what to expect and was nervous about participating in the songwriting camp. By the second day, I felt so much better and inspired. This change in mood was because of the facilitation by Andrea and her team. It was cordial and educational. They created a space to be vulnerable, and we never felt threatened. I highly recommend it!

Great Tools For Your Entire Songwriting Life
The 30-minute songwriter course is just what I needed. This was a serious and helpful dive into tools and techniques for songwriters. It covered everything from lyric-writing, and inspiration, to melody analysis and harmonic approaches. While some of these techniques were known to me still more were new and all of them benefitted from Andrea's clear and relatable teaching style. During the course, I learned quite a bit from my fellow songwriters and was inspired to do my very best from their excellent work. If you've ever been stuck, experienced writer's block, or just want to cultivate your songwriting craft this is the course for you.

Just finished the 30 day songwriting…
Just finished the 30 day songwriting challenge. Went in with severe writers block. Ended with a rough sketch for almost 11 songs! Andrea is fantastic. I learned so much.

Alan, it was such a pleasure moving through the course content with you. Your story was inspiring to me, having been stuck for some time without a 'reason' to develop and finish songs. I know that feeling well, and it is a distressing and sometimes discouraging place to be. Great class!
Andrea's 30-day songwriting course was a terrific! Our group had songwriters of all levels of experience, and we all benefitted immensely. The course will teach you how to modify your songwriting process to work faster and create songs that are more compelling to you and your audience. Highly recommended!

Top Notch Songwriting Course
I just took Andrea's 30 Minute Songwriting Course. It is quite simply the best course I've taken to date on songwriting. The focus on both music and lyrics and the focus on the vitally important interplay between them is what sets this course apart. In addition, the myriad topics covered in detail, the layout, the pacing and the pro presentation, all make this an extremely valuable and useful course for any songwriter, no matter what their level of experience. I highly recommend it! In short, Andrea and her team have done a top notch job!
