Excellent workshop. Andrea is a great teacher.

I recently had the pleasure of participating in Andrea Stolpe's Songwriting Retreat in Nashville. For me, the entire week was perfect and literally transformative. The program is well-planned and completely immersive, with very little downtime for anything but learning how to write better songs, co-writing, playing music, and creating great relationships with other writers/musicians. Andrea's staff are incredible and it's obvious that they care as deeply as she does about making the entire experience enjoyable and productive. If you are an aspiring songwriter, regardless of your level of expertise, I can't think of a better way to move to the next level than to experience this songwriting retreat for yourself. Highly recommended in every way.

Incredible experience with amazing people in a beautiful setting! Everyone arrived nervous, and I mean everyone, but left songwriting smart, connected to others in the group, and inspired to write, produce and just have more fun with their music! Andrea is a thoughtful, talented teacher who knows exactly how to get to the heart of whatever you're struggling with in your music. Cannot recommend this retreat enough!

Andrea is a fantastic teacher and communicator and her program is absolutely second to none. I can't think of anything negative about my experience. Madison was amazing! Carter was spectacular! The food was outstanding(a HUGE part of the experience). I'm probably forgetting something or someone, but everyone was friendly and easy to be around. I think the best part for me was just being around people that love music as much as I do, and then loving it together. In the morning sessions, the writing rooms, the campfire, the dinner table, the hallway, the stairs, everywhere and possibly anywhere. Every level of writer gets and gives the same respect. Every person feels safe enough to ask for help and give it. If you are a Songwriter, Andrea's retreat is for you. I truly couldn't recommend this more wholeheartedly!

This retreat was just what I needed. I’ve been writing songs by myself for a long time and wanted to figure out what collaboration is like. This retreat opened up a new door for me. The collaborations were wonderful experiences. It reminded me of the early in my musical journey when I was finally good enough to play with other people and feel a deep connection through music. These collaborations had the same feeling of deep connection with like minded people. Before this I was struggling with my “why”. Why was I spending so much time writing songs. I came away from this retreat with a clear vision of why I want to write music. It is to bask in the light of other people and share in a creative bond with them. I find this very powerful.

Fantastic retreat! Far exceeded my expectations!

I felt instantly welcome. The accommodations were quaint and comfortable, food superb, and the communal atmosphere was invigorating. I felt like the program overall was laid out well, full schedule but not rushed. The instruction sessions were relaxed and the tools I came away with will be very helpful as I progress. The co- writing groups were well thought out and so much fun and the performances were real and pure. Aftershow party around the fire pit was magical , everyone had something to offer and we all came away with so many lasting memories. I feel blessed beyond measure to have been a part of it and look forward to applying what I learned to my everyday writing.
