Gazebo and Pergola arrived well packaged and weather tight. Quality of the wood reminded me of a piece of fine furniture. Assembly of both units was fully described in the manuals. I assembled what I could myself and got help for the rest. Gazebo deck and rails was finished in about 3 hours. Roof took about 2 hours to place with 3 people. Lifting help is needed for the roof panels. Ridge shingles and cupola took us 4 hours to complete. Gazebo looks great and is very sturdy. Pergola went up in 5 hours. Did the posts and upper frame and came back to do the top section. Very happy with finished product, looks great and will provide many years of great family time outside.

TOTAL SATISFACTION AND MORE THAN EXPECTED
We had never ordered any thing of the size without physically seeing it and touching it. My wife saw the pergolas on line and we fell in love with them. When we called to place the order, they made us feel very comfortable. The order was sent to us exactly when promised. Their delivery team was very professional and also they would have installed it, if necessary. To get things started, it definately needs two people. It is now up and complete. The details and workmanship are beautiful and we absolutely love it.

Love it and it looks great!!
Finally came and finally got to put it together. It took 4 men to get it together. Especially the roof. The thing that I would change is the screens. You loose the shelf like edge around the railing. You cant use them from the inside.

True Cratsmanship
My husband and I are very pleased not only with the craftsmanship that went into the construction of our gazebo but also with the purchase and installation process. The websites "design your own gazebo" feature was user-friendly and Mel, the salesman who worked with us, was very helpful and answered our many questions about site preparation. We were amazed watching the three men who installed the gazebo. They silently coordinated every movement in a incredibly efficient manner and took great pains to make sure everything was perfect and clean before they left.
Our only complaint is that the downrod included with the fan wasn't long enough for the pagoda roof on our gazebo. You could barely feel any air movement and needed an extra-long chain to turn on the fan/lights. We had to buy a longer downrod from Home Depot to correct the problem.

Gazebo perfection!
Our gazebo is fantastic and we are really pleased with the service we received from the initial phone call and subsequent emails when it was ordered and finally installed. It was amazing that the gazebo looked exactly like advertised and we were impressed that they delivered and assembled it in the western mountains in Maine.
We would highly recommend this product and the company personnel that we dealt with during this whole process.

My Sanctuary came from Amish Country.
When I lost my dearly beloved on 11/27/13, my world was turned upside down. I will never be able to look a roast Turkey in the drumsticks again. By chance, I learned about Memorial Gardens with a Gazebo as the centerpiece. I contacted Amish Country Pavilions & Gazebos and the rest is history. I now have the sanctuary that I craved and needed for my grief process. I'm comforted by the workmanship, craftsmanship, and beauty of a 14x14 place of peace, joy, and ease. I can't thank Amish Country enough for giving me back some sanity. JAG

Great Value, Top Quality, Attention to Detail, just one minor...
I purchased a 14x28 (rather large) pavillon kit from ACG. The entire experience was great. From the sales team answering many questions around permits, and my ability to assemble it myself, through getting it to my driveway. The kit came in 2 very large 15+ feet long pallots. They were covered nicely with tough plastic and could withstand weeks or months of outside elements, if you chose NOT to assemble it right away. Of course I got to it the next day. The workmanship of every board, rafter, and trim piece was excellent. No bad boards. Everything came pre-measured, cut, stained, and ready to go. Came with all nails, screws, even screw bits. Assembly wasn't bad, but I had a couple of glitches due to the assembly instructions not being accurate. First, the instructions I got was for a 4 leg square pavilion, not a 6 leg version. The problem that presented wasn't one of logic or how to assemble, but the step to assemble the middle legs wasn't covered, and it turned out you couldn't use the example they showed to pre-assemble and then hoist upright. Instead it really required a 3rd man and was a bit of a setback. When I finished assembling, there were a few extra pieces. When I was finalizing putting the vinyl trim pieces, it appeared I was short a few pieces, and I called the company. They then sent me photo's of how it should be, which was to use the last few pieces of wood where I thought a vinyl trim piece should go. Again the phone call, the delay in building, all was because these steps were left out of the assembly instructions completely. Not a huge deal, in the end there were no missing pieces, but the assembly instructions leaving out key parts of two major middle legs which had to be done differently with respect to the physical labor, and required phone call to figure out the last few pieces, was completely unnecessary if they would have had more complete instructions. Overall I am satisfied and would purchase another product from this company.

Great pergola.... adds to outdoor ambiance
We recently installed the Amish Country pergola and love it.
All the employees, from the ordering to the actual delivery of the pergola, were helpful and pleasant. The instructions were very detailed and included step by step pictures. Our only constructive criticism would be that while 2 Amish workers are able to put up a pergola; it took 6 non-Amish workers to install one. The sides are very heavy and you need more than the average two workers to construct this. Other than that we are very pleased and our neighbors are envious.
