I just cancelled my account as my home heating propane tanks are just about empty (below 5%) and I have been asking, then pleading, for delivery for a month. I was promised an emergency delivery this week that never came. So I contracted with local vendor who are coming today with new tanks and gas. AmeriGas took over a local family business who were providing good service - got an emergency delivery within hours late one night when gas ran out back in March - and they have ruined the business. Several neighbors told me the same story. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. PROPANE IS TOO IMPORTANT TO TRUST TO LARGE FACELESS CORPORATION. STAY LOCAL.

Iam waiting for my gas 12/29/20 its ridiculous because its the second time i have the same problem if i order my gas its cause i need it i have my 6 kids one 4 months 2 years the youngest..its to cool i dont have any gas but they take the payment so fast and the gas never comes i need my gas today..i want to talk with the owner or manager because its not rigth. 2143253059

Terrible customer service. Had appointment for a safety check at 9 AM. Showed up at 430. Told me they don't service my tanks. When I signed up, no one told me that they don't service my tanks. I'm glad I don't have to do business with them.

Signed on as a new customer and they told us to call at 30%, we are currently below 10% and still no one has showed up. I have been on hold over an hour several time in the last week. I finally had to go some where else and get a filled..

Do not do business with this customer. Wait times for customer service exceed 90 minutes consistently. They are priced over 60% higher than competition. Customer service does not know what they are doing.

DO NOT USE THEM! HORRIBLE!!! I could not get a bigger tank but I still paid for a bigger tank AMOUNT OF PROPANE upon installation in September which left me with a credit of $200. After 4 months and needing a refill they said it will now be $4.54 per gallon instead of $1.63 per gallon. No matter how many times I explained I paid in advance for that rate, they blamed the service man. I disconnected and went with Proflame who said they are constantly moving people over from AmeriGas. Their good reviews are when it was Heritage Propane but AmeriGas bought them out and they are no longer ANY GOOD. EXTORTION! CRIMINALS! Proflame is charging $2.14 per gallon in the middle of winter. $4.54 per gallon, they are HORRIBLE! Who does that to people? Especially who PAID IN ADVANCE to get the install price.

I ordered propane on December 8th and it was supposed to be delivered on December 18th. I called the office and after waiting 45 minutes she told me it would be delivered the following Tuesday and of course it wasn’t. Tried calling a few times but hung up after waiting an hour. Try to email and nothing. It is the 29th and still have not received propane.

Amerigas is the worst company I have ever worked with. We were literally left in the cold because they did not delivery and would not expedite delivery. I had to get emergency delivery from another local company that actually picked up the phone after a week of waiting for Amerigas to help me. The customer service is a total nightmare - they literally dont pick up the phone or make you wait for an hour + to talk to someone. Finally I had a supervisor tell me they couldn't help me but to wait. Now I am on hold for 55 minutes trying to get my $700 back that they charged preemptively without delivery. Their chat system is fake, it does not work. This company is corrupt and should be put out of business. DO NOT BUY FROM AMERIGAS!!!
