Called in December to get a fill and we were at 25%. They took our money dec27,2020. Jan 16 we were at 5% bc they hadn’t come and filled tank yet. Jan 18,2021 they came out with an order for only 7 gallons when we paid for a full fill and the truck malfunctioned so they disconnected us and locked us out. They told me they filled tank when they didn’t. Told us there was nothing they could do. We have three children one who is a baby and one who is disabled. No heat no water no gas to cook with all bc they didn’t do their job and now refuse to fill tank. Jan 26 was earliest they said they could get here. No call no nothing just disconnected and locked us out and refuse to come fill it. On top of being rude to us! Do not get propane from them extremely rude on hold for forever and hang up on u

Absolute crap company. We have been out of propane for two weeks and they won’t answer the phone. We’ve called emergency number and everything. Filing a formal complaint against them. AWFUL COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely worst company on the planet. Literally cannot get them to answer the phone, after weeks of trying. Wait on hold for 35 minutes, and then the system hangs up on you. Every time. We've had an empty propane tank for months, after telling us they just filled it up. After reporting to them they did not refill it, as they said, the grouchy lady told us they would get to it whenever they can, with zero indication of when. Now we can't reach them at all. Literally impossible. Phone doesn't work. Online doesn't work. How does anyone work at this company with a clear conscience?

This is the worst company ever. They gave lousy service, wouldn't come fill the tank, lied several times about delivery times and then called and said I had to prepay before they would come out. If they had said this in the beginning it would not have been an issue. Now I have cancelled because of there non performance and they want to charge me $70 to pick up the rental tank that has 8 months of rental left on it. Run from these people

I am thoroughly disappointed with this company. I placed an order on 12/28 and was told a delivery date of 1/1-1/11. Thursday 1/7 we run out of propane. My husband called and was told it would be between 24-48 hours and someone would deliver. Saturday 1/9, 48 hours, came along and still no delivery. Called that afternoon and was told they would place an emergency delivery to fill our tank. Couple hours later and no one showed up. Called again that evening and was reassured by two Amerigas customer representatives that someone would be there that evening to deliver. Left the porch light on all night, because stupid me believed the two employees that someone was coming. Today is 1/11 and we still have no propane. Talked to someone on the phone and she tells me there isn’t even a scheduled delivery for our house today and she would try and have someone there first thing in the morning. So again, tonight we will have no propane, mind you we have a toddler and two animals. So on top of trying not to freeze tonight, I have to worry about my water pipes freezing. Don’t bother calling them, they’ll transfer you all they want so they don’t have to deal with you. Pretty disgusting how a company takes your money without providing a service they promised. Update: Called today 1/12 since we still have no delivery. Employee put me on hold to find my account and forgot about me until my call was dropped. Called again and was waiting to speak to someone for 52 minutes before my call was dropped again. Never got ahold of anyone. Called another local propane place and they’re sending someone over to install a temp tank until their company can come fill our actual tank, now THAT’S actual customer service. Called Amerigas back to close up our account and refund us our money. We’ll see if we actually get it back in a week like they’re saying.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with! Every single time I call, I am on hold for AT LEAST 40 minutes, and most of the time its longer than that. I just recently sat on hold for 30 minutes for someone to answer to put me right back on hold for 20 minutes, while i was on hold I called from a different phone and they answered that within 10 minutes and their reason was "our phone lines have been messing up". When we request a delivery, they will not give an exact date via Phone, but will tell you to look online for the exact date which it does not give. We currently have an estimated time of 2 weeks, with no guarantee it will be delivered as "it changes daily". I have also requested many times that we receive a receipt showing the paid amount with a letter head as we are in the process of selling our house and they requested this, I called last week for the final time on 1/6 and they said they should be sending it within the next two days, never received. Thankfully we are no longer in need of it, because it clearly wouldn't have mattered anyway. Very glad we will no longer be using this company for our propane after this year. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

They are letting people run out of gas in the winter time! My in laws have been trying to get gas since the week before Christmas! Still no delivery and it is Jan. 12, 2021 now! Every winter, my in-laws have to fight to get gas and they are on the automatic fill up. They are blaming Covid this year. They sucked before Covid came about!! If you can find another propane company to go with, I suggest that you do it. Go check out people’s posts on their Facebook page about running out of gas and about being charged rental fees for tanks after cancelling services!

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY THIS REVIEW IS NO DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS, GOING ON OVER 30 WAITING FOR DELIVERY. THEY LEAVE YOU ON HOLD FOR HOURS, THEN HANG UP. DONT ASK FOR A MANAGER YOU ARE WAISTING YOUR TIME, THEY LIE JUST AS MUCH AS THE REPRESENTATIVES. OR THEY PROMISE TO HAVE SOMEONE COME OUT AND DONT SHOW. DONT KNOW WHY THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS. PROBABLY THE WORST BUSINESS IVE EVER CAME ACROSS. YOU HAVE PEOPLE LIVES AT STAKE AND THEY TAKE IT AS A JOKE.
