Terrible Gas Company, they let my tank run out after placing many orders and no one ever showed up until 5 months later. Forced us to change companies and took 6 months to pick the tank up. So now they are charging us restocking fee and they think I’m going to pay that, has anybody else experienced this? They have now turned it over to a collection agency. I have made many calls to dispute this charge with absolutely no luck. Stay away from this gas company!

There is no option unfortunately for zero stars. That is too bad as it would be an accurate review for Amerigas. Their customer service is non existent. Find another propane provider and save yourself a great deal of aggravation.

I try to establish an account and was told that they would be out between nine and 11 11 o’clock rolled around took me 45 minutes and four different customer service technicians before I finally had one tell me that the fellow would be out as soon as he was done with an emergency gas leak what they only have one guy that works here so I waited about 15 minutes later an hour and a half after I spoke with that last customer service tech A fellow knocks on the door he didn’t have a mask on nor one one his person, so I asked him if he was vaccinated since he was going to come in to my house and assess where are the lines were going to be connected he said no I’m not vaccinated I said do you have a mask he said yes in my truck so I went inside and told my elderly parents mask up get your jackets on we’re going to go outside and get this done when we got out to the porch all I saw was his tail lights going around the corner he just got in his truck and left so this morning I tried to tell someone about what had happened and of course this person asked me do you want me to file a complaint that the technician wasn’t wearing a mask I said no I want you to file a damn complaint because the technician left without saying a word just left that’s how you treat potential customers I’m glad that he left because I won’t be doing business with AmeriGas EVER

Amerigas failed to do my auto delivery and let my tank run out. That was in September. Appointments not kept, literally hours on hold and here it is November and we are freezing. Horrible company without a shred of customer service.

Worst service, purposely come to your house when your not home and then charge a maintenance fee. Extremely dishonest. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I would rate zero if possible. WHATEVER YOU DO , FONOOT DO BUSINESS WITH AMERIGAS . They will tell you AMYTHING TO GET YOU OFF THE PHONE AND THEN ORDER THIER AI TO LIE ABOUT YOUR DELIVERY. There ARTIFICIAL INTELLGENCE ANSWERING MACHINE TOLD ME MY PAID FOR ORDER SHOULD BE DELIVERED ON 5 NOV., A FRIDAY. WHEN I CALLED on the 6th AND GOT A HUMAN BEING TO ASK WHERE MY GAS IS , ALREADY PAID FOR IN FULL I WAS TOLD BY THE HUMAN BEING THAT AN EMERGENVY DELIVERY COULD NOT BE MADE TILL MONDAY THE 8." WE'RE SO SORRY WE ARE SHORT HANDED " BLAH BLAH BLAH!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH A MULTI BILLION DOLLAR CORP. THAT THEY CANT RUN THIER BUSINESS PROPERLY TO SERVE THIER CUSTOMERS? PERHAPS THEY COULD CARE LESS THAT PEOPLE NEED THIER PROPANE TO STAY WARM AND HEALTHY IN A HOSPICE SITUATION AS I FIND MYSELF IN??? SO CALLUASS. AND UNCAREING ABOUT ANY EMERGENCY YOU MAY HAVE. JUST DONT CARE. FIND YOURSELF A NICE LOCAL COMPANY BASED IN YOUR RURAL AREA THAT WILL BE ABLE TO SEE TO YOUR NEEDS ABOVE THE COMPANYS . I HAVE DEALT POORLY WITH AMERIGAS FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND SINCE THEY MAKE PRIMARILY IMPOSSIBLE TO LEAVE THIER SERVICE FINACIALLY, outrageous prices to come pick up a tank that has sat in this yard 50+ years, so you can get decent SERVICE from someone else. I REPEAT; SAVE UPURSELF THE HASSEL AND NERVE WRACKING AGGRAVATION OF DEALING WITH AMERIGAS. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE IF ARE A POOR PERSON WHICH I HAPPEN TO BE . LOCAL PROPANE COMPANYS ARE THE BETTER CHOICE IN RURAL AREAS. THEY KNOW AND CARE ABOUT PEOPLE NOT DOLLARS. I AM ADDING TO THIS ON THE MONDAY I WAS SUPOSED TO HAVE EMERGENCY GAS DELIVERED! WRONG❗NO GAS TODAY. ORDERED AND PAID ON THE 209TH OF OCTOBER. WAS TOLD THEVORDER UNDER 5% IN TANKBWHICH AMERIGAS CONDIDERS EMERGENCY, HAD NOT EVEN BEEN SCHEDULED FROM ORDER . MY poor during husband is huddled under an electric blanket in his room .I had to spend 280.00 MORE DOLLARS TO KEEP OUR LIVING ROOM SEMI WARM SO HE COULD GET INTO HIS CHAIR AND BE SOMEWHAT COMFORTABLE. THANKS AMERIGAS ! UOU GOT YPUR PAID IN FULL. YOU COULD CARE LESS IF YOU DELIVER MY PROPANE. PLEASE PLEASE , IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALRH DONT USE THIS COMPANY! ❗ UPDATE❗ AMERIGAS IS HOLDING 100 GALLONS OF PAID IN FULL.PROPANE JOSTAGE. WILL NOT DELIVER AS " PROMISED" FOR HPINH INTO THE 7thDAY. ORDERED OCT.29, 2021. After numerous phone calls and out and out LIES , a" CUSTOMER SERVIC ADVOCATE"❓" , just told me I should NEVER HAVE BEEN GIVEN A " SCHEDULED DELIVERY TIME"! (his name was BOBBY BY THE WAY). I have had to BUY a 300.00 electric heater to keep my during husband warm which is making my ELECTRIC BILL GO UP AND on a fixed income I can not afford what I've had to purchase . PLEASE❗IF YOU ARE AN AMERIGAS FRUSYRATED CUSTERMOR IN ANY STATE,locate a a PROPANE company nearby that can treat you decently. I am NOW on a waiting list , along with " many other AMERIGAS terminations❗,to have NEW SERVICE from a local business that has served this Area for 58 YEARS and is happy to have my business at a lower cost, fewer FEES and the best part , ON TIME DELIVERY. WHY HAVE I WAITED SO LONG❓. HALLELUJAH! COME SPRING , BETTER SERVICE AND NO HASSELS AND UP FRONT TRUTH. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH. I also took the advice of an online forum and filed a complaint with BBB and the GAS REGULATORY ADMINISTRATION IN THIS STATE.I may even contact a lawyer . Good Luck and CHANGE YOUR PROPANE TO A RELIABLE COMPANY. THE STRESS OF HOSPICE CAREGIVING AND AMERIGAS UNCONCERN IS UNCONSCIONABLE!

Rude field personnel, phone service is a joke. Gas price almost $1higher than another local competitor. Reaching them by phone is aggravating as their phone system hung up on me 4 times. I will never buy from them again.

These you know whats have left my 81 YEAR OLD MOTHER without HEAT! They disconnected it due to a gas leak back in JULY OF 2021 and was told they would return to repair it. Low and behold ALL OF HER RECORDS OF THAT HAVE BEEN DELETED!!!! They do show it was disconnected but don't show a service ticket put in for repairs! I had to hire a third party to repair it and with Temps being in the 40's at night, 6 1/2 MONTHS LATER THEY CANT SEEM TO GET OUT HERE TO RECONNECT IT!!! THIS IS AN EMERGENCY AND GROUNDS FOR A LAW SUIT!!!!! WHAT A CRAPPY COMPANY!!!! THEY HAVE A LOCK ON HER Tank so we can't nor a third party re connect it. So they hold my 81 year old mother on a fixed income hostage!!!!!! This is bull crap and something needs to be done about it!!!!!!
