AmeriGas PropaneReviews of amerigas.com

This company is absolutely the worst. I usually call around to find cheapest option and they never have low prices. One time they quoted lower price but they never delivered. After waiting for two weeks and running out of propane had to call other company for emergency delivery. Do not trust a word they promise.

This company Charges you fees they don’t explain or prepare you for in advance. I reported a gas leak- they charged me $260 to come out and confirm I had a gas leak but would not find where the leak was or repair it. Thank you for charging me for nothing.

After trying to refill our tank in the spring and finding it full, Amerigas cancelled our autofill without notifying us. We never even realized it until January, when the temperature was -15F and suddenly our tank was empty. After multiple phone calls with someone in another country, they agreed to make an emergency delivery. 7 days later we still have no propane. We’re so lucky to have a small wood furnace that heats the kitchen, but our house has been very cold and we have young children. It’s impossible to run more than 2 space heaters without tripping the circuit breakers. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

I will start by saying this will be a little long of a review because it spands over 4 days. I live in New Tazewell, TN. My tank need to be replaced. They said to call when it got below 10 percent so we can get it scheduled to replace it. I checked the tank the day before and it was down to one percent. That morning to replace they called me at 8:00 AM to make sure I was going to be home and the conditions of my yard and drive since it had snowed about 1 inch in the place of the tank and drive way. He was coing from Knoxville, which is an hour to hour half to my house. I then get a call at 10:00 AM from the technician saying that AmeriGas is sending him on an emergency call to Rockwood. Then at 12:00PM I get a text saying my delivery has been canceled. I then call AmeriGas to find out what is going on. I was told that the technician did it "because he could not get in my yard it was to wet". I told the lady, that he never even came to my house. I explained to her that this family has one percent gas and it is 15 degrees outside. She said she would talk to her supervisor and they agreed to put me on the schedule to have some delivered that day. Then we can replace the tank at a later time. She said the supervisor and the delivery tech would be calling. This was about 12:30 Friday 1/7/2022. I called back at 6:30 PM got the complete run around and even hung up on twice. Then was waiting for a customer service for 45 minutes. No one ever called or came to deliver gas. I called again at 8:00 AM Saturday 1/8/2022. Talked to a scheduling lady and was told the same thing someone was coming out there today. Same as before supervisor and tech call. Still 15-20 degrees outside. I went and bought heaters for them to use until this is resolved. Today is 1/11/2022 I still have not heard anything. I did look at the site about my delivery it says EXPIDITE One day - This was Friday. So I called this morning and canceled the delivery and closed my account. I called a different (local) company that said They will be out and do it cause I

If I could, I'd give them negative stars. I love my driver. I can still text him and get either service that day or at least a personal call. However, when I call the local number I get put on forget. I finally hung up after being on hold for over hour and half with never even hearing a live person. The rate per gallon is highway rape. Then they're pretty quick to bill you, but can't seem to be able to credit the right account, even when the number is wrote on check. Registering for online account is frustrating as well. If at possible, AVOID this company!!!!!!!!!

If you want to get billed forever, go with this company. They will bill you way after you cancel. Oh, and you will cancel.

I was charged $5.359 per gal when the average price in Maine is only $3.35 at most. Worst service ever. Check your bills closely.

RATING= WORST COMPANY EVER! Since Amerigas has taken over this company we have had nothing but problems! Always problems with deliveries. The latest problem is a payment made 27 days ago has still not been credited to my account even after 5 phone calls and sending them proof of payment. The last person I spoke to on Dec 27th guaranteed me the payment was being processed and would reflect on my account within 48 hours and that her supervisor would return my call within 24 hours. It is now Jan 2nd and I never received a call from the supervisor and the payment still has not been credited to my account. BUYERS BEWARE!!!
