This is without question the absolutely worst company in existence. In fact, the single worst company in the history of mankind. They have never made a delivery within their delivery window. As I write this they are seven days and counting beyond that window. I've called three times for a status. Each time I'm told I will receive a call back with details. Those calls never come, ever. I'm now critically low on LP but that doesn't seem to motivate them much if at all. On top of all that my delivery was prepaid. The reps who answer the phone can't even call those responsible for making deliveries. They have to email them and I'm told that they have no idea if the local "district" acts on the email (in my case requesting an expedited delivery.) It takes a real effort to be so lousy at something but man, being lousy is actually one thing they're good at. In all seriousness, if you have any other options for gas fuel then go that direction. DO NOT USE AMERIGAS.

If I could give them a zero I would. Trying to install new tanks to run a standby generator. Cannot get someone local. (Seattle) Every time I talk to them it is a different story. I had an appointment set up for a technician to inspect where I want to install the tanks. When the technician did not show up I called and they said there was no record of a scheduled appointment. Then I was told they no longer supply the size tanks I wanted. After more than 10 calls I got nowhere with them. I give up. I will go with a local supplier.

Worst propane company ever. Only delivers propane when it’s convenient for them. Either they deliver with still half a tank left and you still have to pay the service fee or you can’t get them to get here and fill up your tank when you’re at 5% and calling every day for a week. Absolute horrible customer service, only tells you what you want to hear they have no idea what they’re doing nor do they care about the customers. We have two children and about to have no heat with temperatures below zero, but do they care at all? No. We’ve been on an expedited delivery request for a week with nothing but lies from the customer service.

I have been an AmeriGas customer for years. They used to have great local customer service but no more! I put a delivery order in on January 15th and their window of delivery was through the 24th. No delivery. I was out of town and when I returned on the 28th I called. My gauge was at 13%. I was told they would expedite and I would get the next day (Saturday). No delivery. I called on Monday, was told that it should have been delivered but they had no way to tell why it wasn’t. Expedited delivery again for Tuesday. No delivery. I called a total of 8 times and no one could tell me anything! In addition, they do not send follow up emails or put any notes on your account so you have confirmation that they are even acknowledging your problem. Finally, got a representative this afternoon who told me it was on the schedule for tomorrow (Wednesday). I am so frustrated. It’s freezing weather, we’re down to 10% and I haven’t turned the furnace on in three days. We are already researching other options…

I wish I was able to separate with this company. They have the absolute worst customer service of literally any company I have ever dealt with. Well almost, ticketmaster is worse. I called them eleven days ago on January 20th to inform them that we needed a delivery of propane. I explained that when they called a few weeks prior to confirm our delivery our gauge was reading 90% and then we ran out of gas and come to find out the one-two year old gauge that they recently installed is BROKEN. NOW WE HAVE NO GAS! They indicated it would be 7-10 days. I called on the 28th to check on the delivery and I could not understand the customer service agent; I asked that if she was on a headset to please remove it so I could understand her. She did, but the connection was not much better, but I did hear her say that they would deliver on January 30th. I was so frustrated I hung up and thought no way will they deliver on a Sunday. I called on January 31st in the afternoon to check on the delivery after looking on my account on line and seeing a "pending" status. I surprisingly got a person pretty quickly only to be told that I was not "authorized" to make any requests on this account since I am not an authorized designation on the account. This is propane for goodness sake and we have not been able to use our stove nor our fireplace for 11 days. I have never forgotten the New Years Eve we spent with no propane and no fireplace and a house full of people because they did not show up! So many stories!

If I could give ZERO or NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD. It has been almost two months since my propane delivery request and still no sign of delivery. I’ve spoken to so many customer service reps at the local and National level and they have no idea what is happening internally either. All I can say is, get your act together and have some integrity. Don’t take our money if you can’t deliver.

The absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had and I served in the United States Army. They lied to me they took my money filled my tank when they shouldn't have and then cut my service and then have the testicular fortitude to tell me it was going to be over 10 days before my services could be restored. Do NOT use this company if you can avoid it.

I tried to ask a question about my propane account, and have had Amerigas for 19 yrs....and was UNABLE to talk to an ENGLISH speaking person. Everyone was from India. I believe the people on the phone were NOT in the United States of America ! Really upset me! Finally I had to go through the emergency number to FINALLY talk to an American speaking person. Did Amerigas SELL OUT TO INDIA? Do I need to get another propane company? Im afraid so! Very dissapointed
