Customer service is horrible!! Called 3 times and 2 out of 4 the representative hung up on me! James (supervisor) and Chris. Looking for a new gas computer! Can’t wait to get rid of this disgusting company!! They always let my tank run dry and then want to wait 24 to 48 hours to refill it!! Even though I am on auto refill!! DONT NOT use the horrible company!!

This company is the worst. Their customer Service is nonexistent. While we were customers of theirs, I had to call many times for being overcharged or billed for services that we didn't approve. Our company cancelled our service with them in August of 2021 and I am still dealing with them sending me bills for propane even though the account was supposed to be cancelled. Today I received a new bill and when I called to try to resolve they told me that they were doing a routine update and could I call back in a hour. What company does routine updates during regular business hours? Only a shady one that doesnt care about customer service. So glad we have a great propane company now with great customer service.

I just received a bill for a tank rent, First i have ever had in 30 years it was 199 dollars, I called and was advise the new policy was you mut use twice the water volume of the tank (500) gal.=1000 gallons to avoid rent. I have Two tanks both 500gal.I used 1243 gallons this last year. They advise it must be 1000 gal per tank or rent is 199 each.That is 400 dollars with tax and 11.99 fee for a papep bill. Called for 2 days never got ahold of anyone first day. They did say they would knock 50 dollars off. We will wait and see . Customer service reps can't can hardly speak any english. I will never use enough gas to fill out the min gas use so basicly it will cost me 400 every year plus the cost of propane. As soon as I can run out these tanks I am changing co. They don't even come on the same day to fill both tanks , they make two seperate trips and charge me for it. Useless ever since they bought out all the small co in area. STAY away these people are shysters.

Sadly, they USED to be a company I was happy dealing with, but the honeymoon has long been over. I used their online service option multiple times for a delivery request to no avail, so then battled through their phone obstacle course to get deliveries. Finally had enough when their updated and forced, one-sided terms of service were published AND I then received a tank rental fee bill. ENOUGH. Called to terminate service on June 6th, and hired a different company. But it doesn't end there. It has now been 36 days and an additional 2 phone calls where I begged them to come pick up the 500 gallon tank. I would actively advise ANYBODY to NOT use Amerigas.

This company does not care or understand loyalty. All I needed was a tech to come out and install a valve for my new range. No return call from office or service mgr. about the issue. I was told the techs don't have fittings on their truck. No knowledge,lack of care and sympathy . I was a customer for years but that didn't matter. Very happy with my new service. New customers be aware and do your research. Don't make the same mistake I did.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Worst customer service I’ve ever received. We set up with them in June of 2021 when we bought our house. We set up automatic deliveries and no one has come out to check our tank in the past year! It is now June of 2022 and we ran out of gas. I called customer service and they said it was there mistake but couldn’t guarantee when they would be able to get someone out to our house to fill up the tank! This is unacceptable. We have a baby at home and no hot water for baths or bottles. If I could leave a zero star review I would!

Horrible customer service. My family had been a customer for more than 20 years and when we bought the property from the family we stayed with Amerigas, close to 20 years ago. I am so disgusted and disappointed with the service we received when we had a recent emergency need. We ran out of gas and called for an emergency delivery. We agreed to pay an extra $200 for delivery within 24 hours. We called back 24 hrs later asking where they were and were told we did not get delivery due to not paying the $200 up front (which they did not ask for). We were then told it was really $300 for a 24 hr delivery and $200 for 24-48 hrs. On hold multiple times for almost an hour. End result we cancelled our account and told them to take their tank. So clueless about customer service that they asked why we were cancelling. Not the way yo treat a long time customer when there have an emergency need. They also had the nerve to say we wouldn't be having this issue if we ordered when the tank was at 25%! No kidding, we obviously realize that and based on that were willing to pay the emergency delivery fee. Must be nice for that customer service associate to be perfect and never make a mistake. Don't buy from Amerigas! Go with a company with real CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Scam Company, Go with someone local. They use offshore account reps that know nothing, they overcharge and are a shady scam company.
