The worst company to deal with. I paid my gas delivery on December 20th $500 and today is Jan 6th and i still dont have my delivery. Called many times, they say my tank has 38% and i have only 12%. Yesterday i called again and after 30 mins waiting they said my delivery was going to be done today. Today i receive a txt saying the driver could not find my house so they did not do my delivery. I just called and they said my tank is showing 58%. How the hell it went from 38% to 58% overnight without a delivery? They said also the delivery will be in 24-48 hours... They are just unbelievable Terrible in costumer service and they dont care about us. If i run out of this this weekend i will sue than. Amerigas Corporate should make changes and make costumer happy..

We use the propane only for our gas fireplace, not heating the house. So I called to get our tank filled and because it is empty, we have to pay $140 to detect any leaks, which makes sense but still pricy and we have to pay $200-300 because its considered an "emergency" due to its empty. This is after I paid the rental fee for the year. I'm going to call them back and have them pick up the tank and I'll go with someone else. The automated phone system is the pits. I miss the days when you can talk to someone who speaks your language.

I purchased my house in October 2022 and moved in early November. I contacted AmeriGas and set up metered service beginning October 17. I received a bill in December showing a meter reading on December 19. I was billed for 193 gallons for six weeks service! That seems impossible to me. The house is a small two bedroom, 1200 square-foot property. I called and explained the situation and got no help at all. I asked to be transferred to someone who could help me and was transferred to a man who explained to me that the meter was previously read in January 2022. That means I was billed for a full year! I explained that I had only lived in the house six weeks and was not responsible for the previous owners propane usage. he said he was going to refer this to their resolution team and get back to me the following week. I did not receive a return call, so I called back. I got the same woman who spent an inordinate amount of time, just reading my bill back to me and could not help me. She finally came back online and let me know that they were sending someone out to my house to meet with me and look at the meter. I didn’t see how that could help as the meter had already been read, but said OK. So I waited on the designated day, at the designated time, and then, for the entire rest of the day, and big surprise, no one came out. I really don’t know what to do. I am hoping that this months meter reading will indicate the vast difference in usage from my last meter reading. If I even get a meter reading. I just don’t know how to resolve this! I want to pay my bill, I just don’t want to pay the previous owners year long bill!

I alerted AmeriGas something was chewing on the top of their tank they sent out a technician did nothing then sent me a bill for $100 yeah I’m done I called about the bill they wouldn’t budge

This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with any company.. I own the home My son and his wife, who have a 3year old and a 1year old live in. I have Amerigas tanks. So we ordered propane together on 11/30/22..they had 30% in their tanks. Amerigas delivered that order to the wrong address on 12/14/22..when I called about it they claimed we were lying🤦‍♀️. My son says come and look then..so they escalated that call and were told we had to wait 3 days for a call back, but gave them a "false" promise to deliver ASAP.. 3 days tops..They Never came. Called back on 12/20/22 I stated they were now on 0% and using a kerosene heater and electric heaters and temperatures are in the single didgets. The pipes are going to freeze. Where's the propane? Amerigas says oh we don't have any record for a delivery! 🤦‍♀ ..She finds notice of the last call for credit but no new delivery.. My son says well can we set one up holy cow! 🤷‍♀️ There's a blizzard coming and single didget temps.. Ok so delivery set for the time frame..🤦‍♀️ 12/25/22-1/2/23..great..so on 12/22/23-12/24/23 the blizzard knocked the power out and their pipes froze forcing them to vacate their home for Christmas! 🥺.. Temp warmed up after Christmas and the pipes unfroze, one broke 😞, its now 1/2/23..final day🤷‍♀️ still no delivery😡.. Back to kerosene and electric heaters. He will be on the phone in the morning.😡 I'm noting here that kerosene fumes for that long a period isn't good to breathe in for the babies.. So they have to keep a window open.. Everyone in the house is sick now. This company is as heartless as they come!

Very undependable with their deliveries and their automated phone service is a nightmare. I was scheduled for a delivery between 12-16 & 12-22 with 12% remaining in my tank and below zero temps expected with snow for several days on 12-23. I didn’t get a delivery and called on 12-23 and was on hold for a long time from their automated machine, then when a live person finally answered, it was someone with a foreign accent that you could barely understand. She told me I would receive my delivery that day. I did NOT receive it that day nor the following days. I called once again on 12-27 with a tank level of 7% remaining because we have kept it cut on low in case there were more power outages. I again was on hold for a very long time and then got another foreign accent that I could barely understand. She said she would put me on the emergency delivery list since my delivery had been by passed. We shall see how much longer this will take. I do not recommend this company with all the other options, as I will probably be switching at my earliest convenience.

Service NON-EXISTENT I would have chosen ZERO STARS but it wouldn't let me go forward with my comment unless I chose at least one. June of this year (2023) will be 37 years my parents have had Amerigas. They're on an auto fill "premier" customer basis. My mom started letting them know when her tank was at 40%, 30%, 20%, 10%, and now they're down to 2% and have had to shut everything off - gas furnace, gas hot water heater, gas stovetop - so as not to drain the lines and then be charged $180 fee for flushing the lines before getting a gas fill. They promised emergency 24-hour service 12/30/2022. No one showed. They promised emergency 24-hour service 12/31/2022. No one showed. They then said it would be 1/2/2023 before she would get gas. And they're closed. No one answers the phone today to tell her when she will get a gas fill. Incompetency. There's no sense for it. My mom will be changing services as soon as she can get someone on the phone 1/3/2023.

Running out of gas. Been promised gas delivery for 2 weeks and have been lied to everyday. They are the worst propane company out there. I have talked to several reps and everyone has lied to me in some shape way or form
